My first attempt at a profile. I'm kind of stuck and need your suggestions. I know I'm lacking in the picture department. I'm working on that.

I did my best not to be like all the other "cookie cutter" profiles out there. Read through the "tips" thread. Lots of good stuff.

Thanks

Well, for starters, many of your interestes aren't searchable. Re word them so they change color.

That sentence where you say you just love cute kids, and will spoil them, it may come off as weird. Say something else. Save that info if you meet a woman with a child.

It seems pretty good. You did your homework.

Also, your age restrictions are a little strict. I mean, I will be 29 in a week, and couldn't contact you! You should relax them a little. Oh, and you are military? Why not put in a pic of you at work? It is true, some women go gaga for a man in uniform.

Good luck.

Thank you very much for your service to our country! It certainly isn't terrible, but I wouldn't say it is great either. Your first date is VERY uncreative. You could find 50,ooo that say something similar. What you described was a first "meeting, not a first date. Personally,I think it would read much better if it was not a "list" format. I realize it takes a lot longer to put all those things in writing so it flows nicely. But you tend to get out of some pretty much what you put into it. Just a thought.

Best wishes

Nursinggrl,

You know you're right. After looking at it, the "kids line" does sound a little odd. It's deleted. I'm not really sure I want to mess with the age limitations. I've had relationships with women as young as 25. I don't how to say it, so I'll just say it. Beyond the sex, we had nothing in common. It was a lot fun but I'm looking for a little more substance this time around. I'll keep it in mind. Pics will be updated.

OFCB,

Thanks! I think I speak for all military members when I say that it's an honor and pleasure to serve. When folks thank me for my service it makes all worth while!

Yep, gotta work on the "First date" section. It's weak. I'm not the most articulate guy but I'll try to work on reformating and get away from lists.

LMAO....I guess I've been put in my place! I don't know who you've been dating, my friend, but I have more substance than most...Because I (or any other like minded woman) don't have the option of contacting you, you may be missing out on something pretty good. (Um...not that I'd want to contact you or anything...just making a point.) But to each his own.

Nursinggrl,

Sorry didn't mean to insult you or any woman under 30. That wasn't my intention. I guess what I should of said was that the women I have dated who were younger than 30 were lacking in substance. Women, like you, are out there I just can't seem to find them. Or they all live in Canada. LOL.

Take care, Havoc

Yes, I will give you that one! Canadian chicks rock, if I do say so myself!
(But you still may be limiting yourself...) I hope you meet a twenty nine year old woman who knocks your socks off, just to teach you a lesson! Good luck to you!

Abso-freaking-lutely. I am shocked by how many women that I am impressed by on forums are from Canada. If I wasn't tied to where I am, I'd move there, just for the women.

And age is a state of mind. Really, OP, while you don't want cross-generational relationship, I've seen people in early 20s that are more mature, smarted, wiser and just have more to them than some who were in their late 50s.

Overall profile was pretty good. Put in just enough about yourself and the type of lady you want to find. I don't care for the list format, but that's just me.

Nice pictures as well. You could add a few more.

You should really go in and edit on the interest section as mentioned. Make sure you separate each one with a comma so they turn blue. These show up in searches so it is in your best interest to have them filled out.

Looks good to go.

Good luck
