| little help - getting profile views but....

i dont know what i am doing wrong.
is there some thing i need to change on my profile?

Posted: 5/9/2008 4:07:58 PM | Hi tx, there is not really enough there for me to spend my time on. I would suggest starting over. Go to the first page of "profile reviews" there is a "plofile tips" there. Create a new profile based on what you read there. Then come back,and we will help you tweek it into the real thing.

Start over, and when you have an updated one, post back TO THIS THREAD.
Not being harsh, you are making a lot of very common mistakes. Too many to address in one post. Relax, most don't write a winner first time through. Take your time and give it your full attention.

You're a teacher, right? So you know that the pronoun "I" is *always* capitalized, correct? Not necessarily. He could teach shop, or yoga, or any of a number of things not related to language.
But back on topic... I'm with everyone above me on this one. Many of the things you have done wrong have been covered in great depth and wit elsewhere (specifically in the pinned threads at the top of this forum) so there's no point reiterating them here. Go read those, digest them, put them to use, then come and ask for help. Many people will do so, I promise. | |

being a mystic is a huge a thing enough to expand on. Tell us all about the things
you mystisise about in detail. It's not everyday you find a real live mystic!
Why is it important for a casual date to know you don't have any venereal diseases?
Would that be especially IMPORTANT to know this before going on the first date?
Or maybe you think dating is another word for sex before dinner?
Lose the high school text and use a spell checker.

Hi J, I have returned just as promised. You still have some work to do here.
1. am a 34 yr old college grad--
i am single-
i don't have any kids-
i am 5/10 --
i weigh 190 -
i go to the gym 4 days a week--
i am working on getting back to my high school weight - slowly but surely -
i am dd free --
i don't smoke or do drugs -
i am employed --
Items 1-4 and 8- 10 should be removed. I would sugggest that if you want to keep the others, work it into you text somewhere. Rather than the list format.
2. "what i am looking for is an a intelligent emotionally stable lady who is looking for a normal guy who is emotionally literate and completely normal most other times" This just does not flow nicely at all. Why should your lady be "emotionally stable" but you are "emotionally literate"? Is there a significance there I am not seeing? I would either clarify or remove. My gut tells me remove it, but that of course is up to you.
3. "the lady i am looking for is literate, she is intelligent, " I am not saying this to offend, only to try to help. Is it not a little odd to want a literate woman,when you have commas where there should be periods.? Ladies notice these things my man!
4. The remaning part is NOT conducive to reading at all. Try to bring your thoughts together in some sort of order using complete sentences.
5. Remember to use to descriptive UNIQUE words to describe both you and the lady you seek. Honest,sincere,happy,caring, etc. are no good. Adventurous,introvert,extrovert,oldfshioned, timid,agressive,etc. are examples of acceptable words to use for this.
6. "if this interests u leave me a MSG" Delete this line.
