You're trying too hard with all the "do me" and "boobs" and "naughty pictures" and "make out" stuff, and it's coming across as aggressive instead of amusing.
Your headline needs to go first.
Your profession seems like another joke. Unless you really are a "butler."

which sucks for you, because that means that I don't have any constructive critism for you. Wait, that sucks for me because I don't get to be "constructive". I think that it reads in a very fun and clever way. You probably won't want to date type of people who don't find humour in your profile anyway because they won't "get" your humour in real life either. | |

Apparently I suck because I do not think you are funny. Most people who think they are funny are not. You are one such example. Sarcasm is very rarely a desired trait in a partner too, you may want to keep this is mind.
Pictures look like they could be years apart. Third and fifth one could be father and son they look far enough apart in age and weight. Partly posture, but it is still odd.
Profile is actually not that bad all in all, surprisingly enough. Your total lack of appearing on a favourite list could probably be pinned on your ridiculous first date box though. I would have said stupid, but someone got their panties in a twist and I literally got banned last time I said that, so I will run with ridiculous. Apparently it is okay to character assasinate a person based on their profession, but call one silly whore stupid and people get upset.
Tidy things up a bit. As mentioned by Ms Posted before me, less innuendo. | |

As crazytimes said, people who say they are funny usually aren't. I bet in real life you are a hoot. But the fact that you feel the need to tell us is a real turn-off. I'll tell you what else is a turn-off... your attitude, and here is that little nugget I promised you. You may think you are funny and cool and that your sarcastic wit carries you a long way but my friend sarcasm is negativity and angst wrapped up in a nice shiny package. I have a friend who is much like the way you portray yourself. No filter, has a comeback and a joke for every moment in life. He's the home run hitter. Either he's leaving the bar with the girl within 1o minutes of meeting her or he's just gotten his junk crushed by a glancing stocking-clad knee. And a bar night usually ends with his knock-off dress shirt covered in a collage of****ails. I'm sure your outgoing and aggressive nature probably gets you laid but let me tell you these are not the women you want to be bringing home to mom, nor are they the type that'll stick by you through thick and thin, richer or poorer, if they stick by you at all. You will wake up one day and find yourself in this sad excuse for an existence if you don't snap out of it and smell the rock is cookin'. Most women see RIGHT through this facade, and unfortunately alot of them don't have the heart or the cones to say anything to a guy; they just let him do his thing and then quaintly walk away.
So do yourself a favour and grow up a bit, unless you like banging drunk chicks rolling out of the casinos. Do you at least wait till you are off duty to mack? | |

And unless you think your nostrils are gorgeous or you can only get midgets to take your pic......get rid of pic 4!!
Read profile writing tips and some other guys' profiles who actually KNOW how to attract women (IE have at least a few favs). When you hit edit profile hit delete until you see nothing but white space. Then write a profile.
Or keep what you have and then when you're 56 and single, with a beer gut and manboobs, sipping Old Mil in your barcolounger watching the news you'll think.....gee I wonder what I did wrong??  | |

Posted: 5/10/2008 11:28:53 AM | Thanks to everyone who took the time to check out my profile. I don't know what I was expecting, but I got it, didn't I?
I am going to try and incorporate some of your "suggestions" into my next draft. To those that suggested I erase the whole thing, where do you get off? It may be a bit sarcastic and playful, but at least it isn't bitter (like some of the profiles on here) or FAKE (like some others.)
The picture comments were interesting, because they are no more than 3 years old, and most of them are within the past six months. I think someone mentioned the pic with the vest and glasses as looking the oldest...it's funny because that was at my youngest point. I think it's funny.
I wouldn't want to change too much, but maybe like some of you said I can tone down the sarcasm. It takes an extremely gifted writer to make that come across as anything but spiteful in written form...and I have no delusions as such.
I sincerly thank those of you who had something constructive or positive to say. At least most of you weren't like the apparent Queen of POF, Bucsgirl, who seemed to take a perverse delight in trashing my profile. WTF?
