| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 10:47:04 PM | | I once dated a guy exclusively. During our time together, I had to get off birth control for heatlh reasons. I told him we had to start using condoms and why and that I wasn't wanting any little "larrys" running around. He still didn't want to use one. Now I know guys hate using condoms, but I also know he wasn't ready for any kids. Why would he want to risk an unwanted pregnancy, and 18 years of raising a child for a couple hours of raw pleasure? | |

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 10:48:40 PM | | What would have been even funnier is if his name was William. | |
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 10:49:19 PM | | He isn't crazy, he is stupid unless he really wanted kids or just didn't care. | |

'Cause it feels good.
This means, as a previous poster said, that he is stupid, not crazy...
...Or he secretly wanted your babies.

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 10:56:46 PM | | I agree..... the dude is stupid. Not to mention lazy. | |
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 11:04:07 PM | | This is just such a no brainer, in my mind. Between disease and pregnancy, a condom is standard issue equiptment. I know they're not foolproof, but when you are prepared it just seems to make things roll alot smoother. I don't mind them and use them until there is an exclusivity discussion. | |
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 11:05:15 PM | | More like stupid like everyone else said. | |

Who said he would have to worry about these problems? Pregnancy...not the guy's problem, he doesn't carry the baby. 18 yrs+ of raising a child...not the guy's problem either - hell he could walk out the door, you could call him up and tell him you're pregnant, and all he has to do is deny it. Now you can call him on it, but you have to pay for the paternity test to be done. If he makes no claim that the baby is his, and you have no proof (ie the paternity test) he doesn't even have to worry about child support.
In all technicalities, the guy bascially has a get out of jail free, given he has no conscience, and you are stuck with everything on you. The worst that happens for him, is some crazy woman thinks that he fathered her baby. (Innocent until proven guilty)
On a side note, I worked with a guy who had the nickname "little Larry"...he was about 6'6" 260lbs and his name was Matt. He said the last person to call him that was his ex gf, so I came to the only logical explaination, he didn't like that so much.
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/10/2008 11:48:20 PM | No rain coat, no loving... As the last post posted... He doesn't really care... Hell for a lot of guys that childen isn't even in existance until they see the proof that it is in their hands...
A good portion of 18 yr olds just don't get the concept of sex can = pregnancy....NOW I didn't say male or female so before anyone wants to romp on me... Goes for both sex.
Get a diaphram if you want to have sex with him... If he is going to be a lame brain dillweed, then if you don't dump his dumb a$$, get your own protection... It is better than becoming pregnant, and wondering why the guy didn't stick around...

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/11/2008 1:57:44 AM | ^^^^^ Good call. Suggesting an alternative instead of prolonging/escalating a fight.
The OP was using birth control before, without a condom, so the issues isn't about STDs, it's about CONVENIENCE. I guess it was convenient for the OP to pop a pill, but maybe not so convienient to insert a diaphram, or try those new-fangled female condoms.
Alternative: The Fleshlight or other artificial vaginas. Yup. Take him to an adult store and show him the selection. Tell him that's the only **** he's going to get until he starts wearing condoms. Tell him you already have a vibrator/dildo so it's not an issue for you. See just how far his mind is willing to open.
He can always go back to his ex, Ms. Palmdate.

chalk me up for thinking he is stupid......

So he could start a new thread on the forums telling us how he was tricked, manipulated, and lied to into becoming a daddy and how we should all feel sorry for him?

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/11/2008 2:06:06 PM | | Don't forget folks that you're only reading one side of the story. I can't speak for the guy, but the OP is surely nuts, for talking about the graphic details of her sex life on a public forum, and that, out of some weird desire to have the last word. Bad form. Very bad form. | |
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/11/2008 2:11:34 PM | | I guess it is very irresponsible on his part, and lazy to boot. I guess instead of saying "No helmet, no war" you just gave in? I guess other means of birth control were not possible? Oh well great post, I will ponder the value of such intellect for days to come. | |
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/11/2008 2:23:09 PM | How about a female condom? Also, not wanting to use a condom doesn't necessarily mean not using one. Which do you think a man interested in sex with you would choose; sex with a condom, or no sex without? Exactly. ;) | |
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/11/2008 2:26:02 PM | | becasue he is about him self and his own pleasure.. selfish. | |

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 12:20:11 AM | I can't stand the damned things either. The "PULL OUT" method has worked wonders for me.
However, there are 2 situations where I will wear a condom.
1. The girl wants me to. I carry them just in case.
2. The girl looks like she may or may not be safe. Of course, I don't usually end up with chicks like that...
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 1:43:05 AM | Rapidfire...
Me thinks you may want to sit through health class again and actually pay attention this time.
The "PULL OUT" method doesn't work. Technically even the pre-cum can cause pregnancy.
STD's do not generally modify the way a person looks making them look "safe" or "unsafe". Pam Anderson has Herpies and still makes her $ of the way she looks.
OP - There are many forms of birth control besides the pill. I would suggest in the future if any of your other relationships make this statement that you investigate the best one for you. Of corse the best solution would be to start dating men who take responsiblity for their actions.

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 4:40:36 AM | The girl looks like she may or may not be safe. Of course, I don't usually end up with chicks like that.
This is the most uneducated piece of drivel I have read in these forums yet.
Dude, this way of thinking is going to get you and anyone else you have unprotected sex with in a whole heap of trouble. A girl can look like a freakin' nun with a chastity belt and still be a carrier of STDs.
The "pull out" method is ridiculous too.... while there isn't as many little swimmers in precum, there are still some.
Not using a condom for casual encounters is like playing russian roulette.... if you take the chance enough times you are going to get shot once. And sometimes it only takes once to kill you.
OT: there are quite a number of other birth control methods one can use in a long term relationship that are available. Explore each one together and see if there is one that you can both agree on.
EDIT: Sorry MistrE..... Rapidfire's post caught me so off guard I did not take the time to read your post which I pretty much mirrored. I apologize.
But then, maybe hearing the same thing a few 1000 times might be a good thing.

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 5:03:39 AM | Ahhhhhhhhhhh The innocense of youth. Me thinks that rapidfire should change his handle to something else and think before squeezing the trigger.
OP...No hes not crazy....but you would be to not insist on a condom.................
|
| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 5:43:43 AM | No he is not. raincoats diminish the pleasure a man gets from sex. By the way, condoms break--often.
If you are in an exclusive relationship, there are no worries about disease--right? So that is NOT a factor.
So why not use some other form of birth control. Foam, IUD, or diaphram.
Birth control is the woman's responsibility. It is your body. ARE YOU STUPID? In my opinion--yes. You are asking us question better posed to yourself. What risk does the man have in getting pregnant? NONE. The woman is the one that gets pregnant. You would be a fool to leave the responsibility up to him--unless of course you want some little Larry's running around. I think many women secretly do want to get pregnant. Giving a man responsibility for the birth control is CRAZY.
By the way, your profile handle fits your personality. Dizzy.

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 6:18:40 AM | What makes you think the he will pay child support for 18yrs. The laws are only there for the men with good jobs, and that are responsible. Have you ever tried to milk a stapler? They just don't produce very much milk.
You will be the one stuck if he runs off.

| IS HE CRAZY??? Posted: 5/12/2008 10:29:11 AM | | Because guys; the younger the more they think this way; think with their penis. Pleasure is above responsibility. Don't change your stance on it; no condom; no sex. | |
