Posted: 5/10/2008 11:37:48 PM | Hi all and Happy Mothers Day to all Mums out there .
I had the most wonderful day with my babes 7 n 9 .
I was let sleep in till I woke up 6:30 .
When I did wake up it was to Happy Mothers Day Most Beautiful Mummy in the world .
The kids then presented me with the gifts they had bought from the Mothers Day stall at school.
I got 2 of the most beautiful hand made cards <3 decorated pegs with magnets for note board ,a tea light an 2 tea bags with poems attached .( we have been talking about shops making heaps on special days ) Gave them $2 ea
We then went to the kitchen for them to make me brekky (kids 2 young to do HOT coffee and use toaster on thier own ).
After brekky I was told that I was Princess for the day .
They hung the socks out to dry AND bought them in.And cleaned the play room .
We walked to the shop and got the paper ,came home had lunch .
Then was told to have a Nanna nap.What was I to do ?They read .
I have had a most awesome day and needed to share as I think I am a most Lucky Mummy.

Posted: 5/10/2008 11:53:57 PM | I was woken at 7am by my oldest grandson who is 5, with a present he had made at school, A little cardboard box which contained a strip of paper with some circles drawn on it, about 5 of them, they were my hugs for Mother`s day, He said I had been good and had not snored that night, so he woke up *removed* and happy (his words)
I had been staying with my youngest daughter and her 2 boys.
We went to a cafe/diner for all day Breakfast, which was scrumptious, can recommend The Plaza in King Street Caboulture any time.
We then travelled to my oldest daughter`s where we had coffee and had heaps of photos with the kids, as I am going home tomorrow, to WA.
I get to spend the next few hours playing with my youngest grandchild who is nearly 5 months old,,,, I probably won`t see her again til she is 3...by that time she will have forgotten me..  | |

I woke up to a quiet house.. no kids, very rare for my house.
And am currently waiting for 6pm as Im being taken to dinner by the three of them. Nice.. A day off from being Mum.
So my music has been full titty all day, the entire suburb can hear me for all I care. I have had a long soak in a hot bath, jammed with a mate this morning, baked a banana cake, watched the world go by from my verandah. Perfect. o and came for a spot of fishing.......

It really is ALL ABOUT ME... lol

Posted: 5/11/2008 4:12:19 AM | My boys took myself and their grandmother out to dinner. They booked it last week and paid too.  Bless them.....i have some great kids.
got flowers from daughters kindy, and pretty pic and calander with picture of her on it.
I have a lovely day. love my kids to bits.
