I had the same photos up before so its not like I am using new pics, lol. (In otherwords, they forgot we went out and it did not work the 1st time) Also, in my case, I don't think I was THAT boring that I would be forgotten.LOLOL
I am just curious as I see it happenening alot and people must me speed dating not to remember. LOL | |

Posted: 5/13/2008 9:12:17 AM | Barring a traumatic brain injury or other severe illness, I don't think that it is possible to forget someone you dated for three weeks when you see their picture on website. I believe it is possible to forget about someone you dated, their name, etc.
But realistically, nobody just forgets all together. The other is still caught up on you and wants to try to restart something. Like someone else said, hoping you forgot.
I have forgotten names, I have driven by restaurants and remembered going on a date at a place and forgotten who I went with, I have even emailed a friend of mine on here when I read her profile, but she did not have a pic up so I didn't realize it was her at first.
But to forget someone you dated for three weeks, come on.... | |

I've never had someone I dated from this site forget me, but I have had people I dated unrelated to this site and people who stopped contact on this site.
I've had people I've met in meatspace contact me on PoF and I've been a tad dodgey because I don't know if they remember me.
I've had people who contacted me weeks earlier, threw a hissy fit (complete with name calling, threats and half of the text asterisked) contact me again asking the exact same questions they did weeks earlier. I normally ignore the first two messages of the second round from these people because I still don't believe they're serious. But, it happens.
The guys who contact me after forwarding them one of their last rant emails have said it must means there are sparks and we should start over.

But I don't think it would be a personal thing...I think he probably does it often!
When I first started dating my guy...I swore up and down that he was someone that had previously contacted me...but he really was a newbie! | |

Same person, same pictures, probably 5 months after we decided it didn't work out, but at the time I was using the shotgun version of dating.. no no actual shotgun, just going on dates with tons of people and seeing what shakes out. Even dating a few at once because nothing went on that would put us into the exclusive zone. so among the crush of faces, people etc.. yeah forgot about 'em.
Luckily, we both had the sense of humor to laugh it off, exchange pleasantries carry on. | |
