| To all the MOTHERS out there. Posted: 5/12/2008 3:38:52 PM | | Thank you "rosen2million" for the warm Mothers Day wish. I'm truly sorry for the passing of your mother. My mom will soon be turning 84 and some health issues are there, but her mind is as sharp as a tack! We spent the afternoon at her house yesterday; and I gave her the book "For One More Day" by Mitch Albom. "It's a tribute to family and particularly motherhood. It explores questions of regret, divorce, and how we would spend one special day with the ghost of someone we loved." I may not always be the best at verbally expressing my love to my teenage daughter, but she and I both know that there is nothing I wouldn't do or sacrifice for either her or her brother. As for my elementary age son, well.....it is the sweetest joy that we are both constantly telling each other "I love you". I am a stay-at-home mom, and I thank God every day for affording me this luxury, because there is no other job in the world that is more important. | |
