So how did I do for my first try at a profile?
Posted: 5/12/2008 3:29:55 AM
Just looking for opinions on how my profile comes across.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Wasn't really sure about including the second picture, but other than the profile photo most have a niece or nephew crawling on me with normally acting a fool. But guess it's that "real" everyone is looking for (LOL) (maybe a little too much).

Thanks for any help; it's hard to look objectively through my own eyes.

Dearest Mr Chef,

In one word- poorly. In many more words, read onwards.

Silly headline. Better to not take a chance, you could be some internet freak. Find something more creative. Seven more pictures. 'Seven?' you say. Yes, seven because you realised the error in your ways and removed the picture of you with a kid already. Yes, that was a Jedi mind trick.

Your profile should consist of, as a minimum, the following: A paragraph about who you are and where you come from, literally and figuratively. A paragraph about what you do and where you are going. One more paragraph about who and what you are looking for. Rough guides, but basically two on you and one on her is a good starting point.

First date, not a bad idea, but you spend most of your time explaining it. Less explanation, more detail, more options. Been on a date or two in my time, the better ones all basically revolve around afternoon drinks or dinner and post dinner drinks, usually with a beachside stroll included... except one time when she was that fat she barely made it downhill to the car after dinner. Watch out for that type, being a chef you probably will attract them. They can smell the food on you over the net.

Last but not least, lose the 75 mile restriction, PoF does not calculate distances correctly.

With loving thoughts,
Uncle Crazy
