| Do me! Well, at least my profile... Posted: 5/13/2008 8:21:41 PM | Eh, i guess i do ok with the emails and such even though its unorthodox but I'm somewhat interested in the critics take on my profile. I occasionally get a phone number, or IM contact as is, but things could always be better.
have at it.... | |

| Do me! Well, at least my profile... Posted: 5/13/2008 8:29:59 PM | I see you've been here a long time. Have you updated your profile recently? A lot of your references seem outdated, such as Miss Cleo and King of the Hill.
I don't understand your wish for things to be "better." You say you get contacts, emails, IMs and phone numbers. How many women do you need?
My personal wish would be to take a sharp pair of scissors to that thing growing out of your beard with a rubber band around it. Do chicks dig that thing? Maybe on Johnny Depp, but not on Captain Lou Albano. Another outdated reference. C'est la vie.

Ive encountered a few women that came on strong right out the gate (in emails) but sorta fizzled recently. Whatever the reason being im not sure. Maybe they werent serious about a relationship or otherwise. A few others I'd made contact with unfortunately live 3-4 hours on the other side of the state. Its not like im reeling in a gaggle of ladies nearby.
Perhaps the Miss Cleo line for humor could be changed up to something more current. Noted and will find a suitable substitution.
My facial hair is my business. Why dont you buck up some photos to show off your wares and show me the key to success then?

| Do me! Well, at least my profile... Posted: 5/13/2008 8:43:05 PM | Obviously you're going for a "quirky" kind of thing. It certainly doesn't do much for me, but if it's working I'm not going to argue. I'm not a fan of point-form profiles, but, again, I think it's what you're going for.
Based on your profile, I think your personality comes across as that of an adolescent. To other people, you'll seem "wacky" and playful. I don't like to see people mentioning "poop" in their profiles, but this seems to relate to a dreaded "funny story." I rarely find those stories funny, but I'm sure many people do. You might want to change the "Miss Cleo" thing to something a bit newer; I think she's been flushed into the same pop cultural drainpipe where Raquel Welch's wig company and Dionne Warwick's psychic hot-line are now drowning in their own insignificance.
Exercise is spelled with an "s" not a "z."
I'm not your ideal audience, but I can say this: your profile seems to represent you. Whether or not I like it, it's a million times better than if you had misrepresented yourself by trying to appeal to what you think women are going to like. If you're getting the occasional IM and some phone numbers, you're doing better than a lot of guys, so I'm not sure you ought to change anything.
ETA: oops. ursulamajor has beaten to the "Miss Cleo = old news" point.

I can say that being serious rarely takes precedent in my life, so i get where your coming from.
With that admission, my bills gets paid, my house doesnt get foreclosed on and my trainer says im in superior cardivascular health, so im not exactly "screw up of the month".

Why dont you buck up some photos to show off your wares and show me the key to success then? I'm not the one posting asking for people to review MY profile. Remember that, and go "buck" yourself.

| Do me! Well, at least my profile... Posted: 5/13/2008 9:06:55 PM | The carpet remnant superglued to your chin is as disturbing as a mustache painted on the Mona Lisa, but she would actually look better with the stash. The growth looks like an afterthought that should've never been thunk.
I had to Google the bowling game you list as an interest and then go on to talk about later. Huh, thats a Bowling Video Game? Maybe a REAL game of bowling would draw more interest.
Oh, and yeah...It's never a good idea to flame the reviewers. Our profiles are not up for review. Try to show a little bit of courtesy...it's a sign of maturity.

| Do me! Well, at least my profile... Posted: 5/13/2008 10:04:33 PM | Also, I forgot to say...there is certainly nothing at all wrong with video games as an interest. Maybe add another one the ladies like. How about *Beautiful Katamari*? If it show up as searchable, then perhaps you could get some lady- gamer interested if they find you in an interest search. If you just put "Katamari" it will show up blue for searches. | |
