This is for people who have seen a good movie recently and would like to reccomend it to the forum for their viewing pleasure!! I must say I have just seen "Balls Of Fury" it was given an absolute bagging by nearly every critic I have read a review for but I think it's one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. I would reccomend this to anyone who is in need of a laugh.

Cheers!!

For Mothers Day .. I did my annual chick flick DVD hire.

This year it was 'PS I Love You'. Sat with my daughter, and we cried and laughed. Would recommend it for a girlie get together night, particularly if you need a reason to have a good cry.

DVD I recommend...BOONDOCK SAINTS. My absolute fave - but not for the fainthearted, or those without a dark sense of humour. If you like Tarantino, you'll love this. It's a gem.

OP, often the movie critics wouldnt know if their hair was on fire.
Or their reasoning is devoid of the reasoning the market place has.
Which makes me wonder what function they fulfill?

Like you, i often watch those movies they condemned and really enjoy them.
Anyhow, maybe i am just shallow.

So, i am going to see "Balls of Fury" and "10,000 BC " - anybody wanna join me?

Saw Iron man the other day as i am a marvel fan ...not bad...

warning to anyone thinking of letting their kids see the newest Rambo movie ...obviously it is the same mode as the rest of them ...no story but heaps of action but it would have to be one of the most Graphic movies I have seen for the bloodshed...so if you have kids that you dont mind letting watch action movies ,This one is really over the top I was suprised.

Aussie Gurl much as I hate to admit it, I'm hanging out for Sex and the City too, was totally addicted to the series for years and saw every episode so many times I knew them off by heart, so now you all know my dirty little secret lol Monaro yeah I know what you mean, I'm not a Rambo type person but went to see it as I was thinking about going to Burma, and couldn't believe how violent and gory it was, I mean I love horror movies and have no problem with blood and guts but that was just SO was over the top, unfortunately it was probably pretty realistic too

I reckon Iron Man looks really good and it's on my To See list.

Some of the best movies in the last 12 months or so that I have seen are
Mr Brooks, I am Legend and Super Pro.

I got most of the DVD's last Christmas (Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 5) and went to JB HiFi a few days later for Seasons 4 and 6 and now I have watched them all so many times (and not to mention, having watched them all on Arena - Only if I know that Mr Big (Yummy!!!) is in it.

Bring on June 5!!! (and I am taking my Sister-in-Law to the movie)

Ironman was very good but I'm a comic book geek.

If anyone is thinking about watching Speed Racer, I recommend bright sunglasses, a frontal lobotomy and suicide.

Gone Baby Gone, was really quite good, its an independant movie on at cinema europa.. its really good though!!!!!!!!

i see just about every movie that comes out, and not many are grabbing me lately, i saw -21- and that i thought would be really good because its based on a true story, but loosely i think, and the movie was good yes, but a tad predictable.

Street Kings, wasn't too bad, would appeal to boys mostly, but i love a good boy action movie. its similar to Training Day with denzel washington.

and if you havent seen There will be Blood, YOU HAVE TO, daniel day lewis's performance is astounding... best acting i have seen in a long long time.

Im with you mmmnicky

I saw it last nite....did the Gold Class thing which was very nice with dinner but that was better than the movie...thought it was pretty ordinary, all over the place and not that funny..average... I love Indy..but there comes a time to walk away when your on a good thing...

Anyway all us gals are all hanging out for "Sex and the City"..does any other movie matter ???

Oh and if you want a movie to commit suicide by...see "The Painted Veil"..if your not depressed before you see it, you will be afterwards !!!....I think Somerset Maugham suicided after writing this novel..can see why !!!

A uplifting movie for future viewing...2007 AFL Grand Final Cats versus Port.....what can I say ?? Oscar stuff !!
