Posted: 5/14/2008 3:37:35 AM | Just a general question to all the women on POF - what do you think about a guy when his profile depicts a bare chested flexing bicep/tricep/pecs photo?
Do you think that it's fake? Or that he is a poser or player? Does it turn you on or turn you off?
Personally, it turns me off because I think all of the above.
To me it's the equivalent of a female posing in a playboy style shot, strutting her stuff and showing off her physical assets to attract a partner. | |

Because the types of guy that are messaging me are sending me these kind of photos and I am more amused than impressed.

My brother loves showing off his chest as he has muscles (big) and he has spent time (lots of time) working out on them.

Yes I think you have summed it up pretty much correctly bewitched66.
If it is a natural photo of a guy at the beach not posing, then yes of course that's okay and great if he has a good body.
But if all his photos (or his ONLY photo) is showing off his body, then I cannot take it seriously.
But again, I guess it comes down to what you are looking for.
And if a nicely toned 6 pack and pecs are what you're after, then go for it!
As long as what you see is what you get!

if its already unwrapped..exposed etc.. ive missed half the excitement and mystery... . so im turned off/bored... seen it..
actually when i was young .... all my bros mates etc hung at our place .. i said to them all....... for me id rather see someone dressed.. rather than fully naked.... the mystery is enticing.... do you guys feel like that? like a woman in lingerie rather than fully naked... for eg... they said yes..
i guess thats why strip shows... are still popular...
meeting people... interacting on ....the myriad of levels is a process.... the process is as enjoyable as the destination....

as for me.. i prefer the choice of whether i see someone half naked or not... not just have it put in front of me... im a grandma... i dont want to see guys younger than my son .(hes nearly 26) ... half naked..
