Actually, this is one thing that doesn't really fit right with the site if you ask me: advertisements for other dating sites (whether paid or not; the former being the likely probably 100% of the time).
You would think that it'd be counter-productive, in the business sense. And if you look at (one of) the sites mantra's regarding this aspect;

2. Unlike traditional Dating sites we don't put a pay wall between you and everyone you try and contact.
3. Social Dating is all about giving you tools you need to help YOU find someone. Traditional Paid Dating sites care about the exact opposite, raising prices and trying to keep you around longer. If paid dating sites gave you what you wanted they'd go bankrupt.
4. We delete and banish scammers, its easy to do. Traditional Paid Dating sites have little interest in deleting fake profiles because they could convince you to pay for the service.

If the admins/owners truly believe this, then why the presence of adverts for other adult sites? Either they believe what they're preaching, or they don't. To allow such adult adverts on this site with the above, well clearly there's some hypocracy taking place. EDIT: yeah, I'm aware they're clearly there for purposes of bring $$$ into in POF.

Not that I give a ratz mind you, since this isn't too bad a site, plus it's free, but yeah, gotta make you wonder/laugh at it.

This site is a goldmine for that kind of advertising.

It doesn't matter what dating website you choose to use.......paid or not......you won't get better results than here.

The demographics of this site are perfect for other dating sites. It is full of internet daters.

From the http://honestdatingreviews.info/CommonDating.html ad:
Our research found out that plenty of fish is only run by a single person in his apartment and a completely program that handles the web site.

Alright now, who told them about the completely program?

And another quote from Honest Dating Reviews:
We can personally guarantee your success if you can't manage to get a date from these three sites.

Wow, that's some fine guarantee!

If anything, Honest Dating Reviews will send users to POF.
