Are you your own worst critic?

Or do you ever beat yourself up for not being something a rather enough or something? Do you feel frustrated or angry with yourself because you could have or should have? Did you beat yourself up today?

(It seems I am always angry at myself for not working 24/7 and not having the strength or desire to . The irony is I am a hardworker. I suppose beating up one's self can have its advantages.)

My Mother holds that title....and no matter how circumspect...and critical I try to be of myself...well good ol' mom never fails to beat me down and find fault....recently I have met someone who can be just as critical of me as dear mom... my supervisor... it sucks... I know she is trying to drive me out.

...and if I could be critical 'Red'... it won't for of you and Thumper!

Nobody is their own worst critic. There's always someone else out there who despises you and would slag you way worse than you would yourself..........

I'm my own worst critic.

I'm way to hard on my self if I do something that doesn't turn out the way I think it should I beat my self up over it......lololol but it just motivates me to do better the next time.

969 - I think we (and our mothers) are much harder than anyone else could ever be. But as Atv saysit motivates us to be our better.

I'm my worst critic, my daughter is my best critic - I can do no wrong in her eyes.

"worst critic?"
Actually, what does that mean?
Do I do a good job criticizing myself; or a bad one?
I certainly have difficulty pulling the wool over my own eyes. Apparently however, I've either fooled quite a few people, or they're ignorant, because they seem to like me and seem reasonably satisfied with my work. From my perspective, I must be surrounded by a bunch of rubes because I'm really quite lazy and not very intelligent.
