| the x-files movie 2 are u up to seeing mulder and scully again after all this time? Posted: 5/17/2008 12:10:33 AM | the x-files tv show was one of the best shows on prime time.it became a classic show and there was a movie made wich also became sort of a classic too.now after a few years of the tv show over we get another movie.are u excited to see mulder and scully on the big screen again?do u think this movie will be more watched considering now the tv show is not on? i think this movie might make more money than the first movie just cause theyre is no tv show to watch no more for the fans. personally i hope that the movie is successfull so that more movies are made in the same style as what happened with the star trek movies. | |

| the x-files movie 2 are u up to seeing mulder and scully again after all this time? Posted: 5/17/2008 2:43:53 PM | | I was an X-File junkie when it first came on in '93 until season 6. Then the show got lame until Mulder & Krycek showed up again. But with all the key players dead it seems to make no sense to me to make another movie. It could be good that it's a standalone and not mythology but seeing the supporting cast too makes me think this is a bad idea. I hope I am wrong. | |

| the x-files movie 2 are u up to seeing mulder and scully again after all this time? Posted: 5/17/2008 11:06:24 PM | | msg 3 i agree that i liked more the stand alone episodes.i didnt mind when we got to learn more about the characters and it got personal too but i must admit it was not as much fun when the show started a whole mithology thing where it seems almost an entire season was all linked together and where u felt if u missed an episode u were completely lost.i have to say tough also that i am not sure how i feel about the fact that robert patrick is not included in the new movie.i mean yes the x-files is mulder and scully first and foremost and emphasis should be put on them but i have to say that i really enjoyed the seasons where mulder was gone and where robert patrick came in.it made things really interesting cause at first scully didnt warm up to him and he was the sceptic for a while and she became the believer(the mulder role).and u could feel that there was some romance developing also between them.i think robert was responsible for making the show fresh again and also anabeth gish too.and finaly robert patrick is a real good actor just as much as david duchovny(just watch him in 'the unit' hes good in that) so not at least giving him a small cameo in the new movie is a lack of respect for someone who contributed to the length of the series in the end.cause i mean when duchovny was gone if they wouldnt have had robert im sure the ratings would have gone down even more.patrick was a quality actor that helped the show to survive 2 more years. | |
