As most of you know, we got down to the event and the block party had been cancelled. From what I heard there was an issue between establishments and the city pulled the permit on the event.
For those of you who stayed...once the crowd thinned a bit and the band at the Village Grill started to play, the night was not lost. Several people went next door to Aruba's and also seemed to be having a good time.
Here are pictures that were taken. Please be sure to thank Lew AGAIN for taking the pictures. Remember, he is someone looking to meet people as well and not affiliated with POF. Taking and downloading the pictures takes a lot of time.
For those of you who came out for the first time, give another event a try. Things are usually much more organized.
Next event is the Jazz Fest on June 1 and there is a dance in PBG on June 5. I think that Debi is also trying to plan something at Christopher's. Watch for the postings.

(no pun intended). the pics were tweeked down to be only 50% of the quality and pixel size inorder to upload quickly and for space & size requirements of this site. i still have the original full quality and pixel size pictures. remember only the first 7 pictures are from me. enjoy them in good health.
p.s. i had a good time even though the block party organizers got their permit pulled. that was outside of the control of us plenty of fishes so don't hold our get together organizers Kathy and Debi accountable. i'll take more pics at the marriott party in june. till then......  | |

I had a great time and I want to thank the organizers and all the people who turned out... it was awesome and it was a great cake too!!!

I was in the Bahamas otherwise I would not have missed it! I can't believe the size of the cake....IT WAS HUGE!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!!
