I'm taking the kids to Myrtyl Beach when school lets out. It will be our very first "family" vacation with the exception of Cedar Point trips, but those don't really count.   | |

By the time it gets here I will not have enough money left for gas to ride down to the post office to pick it up. I will be forced to hitchhike. Nobody will stop for me so I will end up walking the whole way. It will be too much strain, causing a heart attack. My dead body will be carved up for the organs and distributed to people on waiting lists in hospitals. They will get a second chance at life and live to pay off enormous medical bills. The doctors whose fees they pay will be able to afford new golf clubs, and big hotel bar bills. This will stimulate the economy in a round-about way. In the final analysis, it will have worked as economic policy, even if the only way I will see it is because my eye is in someone else's head. | |

Posted: 5/19/2008 12:43:30 PM | Mine isn't coming till July 5th. The plan is to use it to pay off some medical debt. I don't forsee any fun stuff.
My boyfriend just got his and he used it to buy his boat back... it's not much, but we've had fun on it for the past 2 weekends. | |

Trucking through Nevada last week, I heard some truckers on the CB saying they were injecting their stimulus money into the economy via the cathouse in Wells.
I would call that a stimulus-for-stimulus deal.  | |

Most of the people I have spoken to were very disappointed thinking they were going to receive $600 then ended up with much less, and odd amounts at that.
Haven't found out yet what I'm supposed to get, but am not expecting the $600 which was indicated by the president! No spending it before seeing it! | |

Sorry to hear that the most that this is "stimulating" is frustration and more stress. I did hear that any/all corrections would be made and paper checks would be sent out in the future to fix the calculation mistakes.?????? | |
