Why is he too chicken to call me or answer my calls when I call him? Instead of cursing through email, I picked the phone and call, but he doesn't answer...I never heard of such of thing. He acts so bad ass texting but he can't talk in real time? What's up with this guy? | |

NO. It will stop for a week or two and then out of the blue..I these mean text messages from him on my cell...i call him to scream at him to leave me alone...If someone text you and said some BS you wouldn't call them? My question was why does this****ead act too scared to answer the phone, if he hates me so much he should be able to say what he types... it's just weird.

If he says these horrible things, why would you expect him to have the decency to tell them to your face. He doesn't care about how you view him. And personally I wouldn't answer my phone if I knew I was going to be yelled at either (that is to answer your question...now to go off on a bit of a tangent of personal opinion)
On the other hand, if I mainly have an online relationship with someone and have something important to talk about, I'm not going to wait until the next time I see them to talk to them about it. I'm also not going to pick up the phone, when I mainly talk to them on the internet anyway. It's happened before, the person got pissy with me a little bit for telling them something online, and asked why I wouldn't have called or something. Yea I could've, maybe I should've, but sometimes I get very defensive and say things that don't need to be said. I much rather have an intellegent conversation on the internet, than trying to explain something that someone doesn't want to hear over the phone and having to repeat myself 5 times. At least if I write it, they can read what I wrote and think it over before responding and vice versa.
For those with three hands...in a serious relationship, talks should always be done in person - also given in a serious relationship, there is more openness to listen to the other person without flying off the handle right away, which is possible with someone you don't totally know on the level the same as a serious relationship. | |

If you aren't ready to block him, just mentally ignore him. When a txt from him comes in, delete it. I'd block him because while I have plenty of txt messages available, I don't have unlimited.
You REALLY don't have to respond to everyone. When a bible thumping hippie-crit tells me I'm going to hell for eating cheese, I don't have to respond. I normally say, "I appreciate your concern for my soul. I hope this is the worst stress you have today and it only gets better all week." If they're wearing leather I ask if it was part of their inheritance from a cow.
You are allowed to roll your eyes at insults and go on with your life.
Don't waste your time trying to teach him how to be a civil person. Just like some cats can't be litter trained, some people can't be civil.
He is NOT looking for a conversation!!!! He just wants to insult you. He doesn't want to debate how much of a b1tch you may be or whatever he's telling you.

I made this mistake as a teenager. Her cell phone normally lost signal(the days before the phone would display "call lost" instead of "call ended") so when she hung up, I kept calling back, I wasn't going to ignore her opinions just because the signal was weak. If you can, always finish the fight so you can fix the problem. | |

If his texts are infuriating you, just change your cell number.....some people just don't have the guts for confrontation..

I love reading these posts where someone is condemning someone else's behavior, then they
come out and describe themselves acting just as foolish.
OP, if you don't like his behavior, stop it yourself. You're feeding the fire and want to know why it's burning so bright?!
My opinion is that you both need to do some growing up. Who cusses and swears at another
human you claim to love? In the car, with the windows rolled up, at the driver that just cut you off, maybe......
NOT at someone you love.
