Register to attend at the sign up area
Saturday, February 20th
 | It's like 3 events in one,
bowling, the bar with a pool table and
socializing in the wide open gallery.

Sign up to bowl when you arrive,
teams will be picked by blind draw with teams of 4
with a balanced number of males and females per lane/team.
Please try to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30!
They accept cash ONLY and have an ATM for your convenience
Bowling is not required, if you just want to hang out in the the gallery and cheer on those who are.
The whole idea is meeting new people so don't be left out of the fun!
Have the kids, that's OK. They can bowl with us or together on their own lanes.
Just post a message with your kids ages so others will know.
Costs:BowlingOUR SPECIAL$10 per bowler,
Includes shoes (no discount if you have your own),
2 hours of bowling,
4 bowlers per lane Regular prices$3.50 per game for kids up to 16
$4.50 per game for adults
$2.50 shoe rental
OR
$20/hour/lane up to 5 people plus $2.00 shoe rental The Event: 08:00 - 08:40PM - Make sure you are signed up to bowl!
08:40 - 08:50PM - Blind draw and teams are picked
08:50 - 09:00PM - Find teammates to pay as a group
09:00 - 09:15PM - Leagues ending and we can pay to bowl
11:00 - 11:30PM - Finish bowling and regroup in the gallery OR bar area. Where:Holiday Lanes website

I just made a deal with the owner of the bowling alley, $10 for 2 hours including shoes. Plus if we have 2 or 3 people on the last lane it's still $10 per person not $40 for the lane. If you are bowling 1 hour it will be $20 for the lane plus $2 for each pair of shoes, so depending if we have 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 people bowling for one hour instead of two the cost will fluctuate: $20.00, $10.00, $6.67, $5.00 or $4.00 plus $2.00 for shoes if needed.
A new procedure as well, when you fill out your drawing ticket with your name you give it to me if you are NOT bowling OR give it to the cashier when you pay if you ARE bowling. Then we will random draw the teams from the tickets they have. ALSO we can pay any time we get there as long as you give the cashier your ticket. Hopefully this will allow the procedure to run a bit smoother.
Also if you are bowling before turning in your ticket please write a M or F on the back of your ticket if you are male or female and a 1 or 2 for the number of hours you are bowling so I can draw the teams fast to avoid delays in getting us started.
Remember that this event is every 3 weeks all year round, unless there is a special event such as St Patrick's Day, Halloween, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Leap Year, a bonfire or camping event. | |

Posted: 2/20/2010 11:11:54 PM | We had a good crowd out tonight. I will post the pictures tomorrow, most stayed after bowling and shot some pool, shot the breeze and shot the .... in the bar. I think the "new" procedure works well! Thanks to all that attended.
