I've searched the forums (read the rules) and was curious about the "Viewed Me" feature. Myself, I usually browse profiles with the "let users see I've viewed them" turned off, and if I come across someone I might be interested in, I'll turn it on. Maybe a little bit of a "wink" of sorts.
I started to wonder looking at my own "users who've viewed me", what happens when people "fall off" the page of 40 last viewed me? What I mean is, If someone "viewed me" in the past, and 40 people have viewed me since, if they "view me" me again (perhaps they are intersted, just shy), do they pop back onto the top of the list? I know people that view me don't jump to the front of the line if they're allready on the list, but it might be a nice feature if they wern't in the recent 40, for them to be added to the list again.
I know myself, many people have viewed my profile, and I've written to a few of them, if I was interested, It'd be nice to see if someone had viewed me before, and a few months later decided to "view me" again, after they "fell off" the list, It would give me a chance to see if there was some interest there.
Since the top bar show all users who have viewed me sorted by when they were last online, the data is in there somewhere....
I understand the conditions surrounding addition to the "viewed me" page, how they are sorted, etc... And with no disrespect, my question would be more more, If someone has viewed me, and they "fall off" my recent 40, which is displayed, do they vanish into the debths of the database, or is their "viewed me" counter reset, and they are added to the front of the queue? If not, this would be a nice feature.
It keeps in line with the common question I've seen and you've linked to "is someone visiting my profile continually?", in that the "recent 40" doesn't show when they viewed your profile, only that they've viewed you, the privacy aspect addressed by admin in another thread is also dealt with as it wouldn't show when they visited your profile, only if they were one of the last 40 to view it.
As aI said initially, I'm more curious on how the "last 40" is calculated, and if they fall off forever, consider this a nudge on what I think I nice feature would be..

Learn to follow the threads you posts to by clicking on the My Forums link in the top right hand area of any forum page. This will alleviate you asking the same question through multiple threads.

If a previous User on the lower Rows has rolled off, he will again show on your Top Row when he logs into his E-Mail the next Time. The People in the top Row are there Forever.
The top Row Users only fall off after they have logged out of their E-Mail Account. But they'll be back again ... whenever they check their Mail.
And if you would like to see Users on your lower Rows again after Rolled-Off, then you would have to get them to click on your Profile once more.
