Although the said picture wasn't actually showing in his profile, I was under the impression that you absolutely DO NOT allow members to post such images regardless whether it's hidden or not.
What is the real deal here? Are we actually allowed as long as it's hidden, or do we still risk getting our account deleted?
Just a bit confused, that's all. | |

If the picture was available on his profile, then yes, he'd go bye-bye.
You can do one of a few things:
-Block them
-Ignore them
-You could report them, but I honestly don't know if there's anything the moderator's would do/could do about it.
Try writing to a moderator directly and ask them.
Now, me, I'm a sarcastic person, so I would have written him back if he has a picture that's bigger...tell him it's too small and you can't see it. | |

Right on the Images upload page, it says:
UPLOADING NUDITY WILL GET YOUR ACCOUNT DELETED
It cannot be any more explicit - the picture has been uploaded to the site - period.
Report him via the Report User link at the bottom of his profile.

Correct, it cannot even be uploaded at all.
It states at the Top of the Image Upload Page:
UPLOADING NUDITY WILL GET YOUR ACCOUNT DELETED

Anyone who uploads Nudity will have their Account deleted.
Yesterday, one member sent me a message with an attached picture of his private parts.
 | Click on the Report Member Link at the Bottom of that User's Profile and file a Report.
Someone is bound to report him at some Point, and will also be barred from creating another Profile here at POF. Not a smart Thing to do at all. |

At this point, I could only think that he has hidden his profile before he could get reported. If that was the case, then I will not be able to report him to the admin.
He could also unhide his profile at some time and possibly send me (or other members) another rude message.
I know his username and if you want to check on him, admins please PM me.

| He'll be caught sooner or later. Most People will report those who have sent offensive & Nude Images. |

Report Link will do, as they are deleted by the Admin. |

After seeing your concern, you've renewed my incintive to take few hours out here and there and delete away.
Tedious as it was, its my own small way of contributing...to remove Pond scum.

just so you, nor anyone else is under any misunderstanding - You are NOT deleting anything, you are effectively only sending a report that may, or may not be acted upon.

If you are on IM and the profile pic went from either no pic or a pic to suddenly something different, yes, its most likely cause they are broadcasting something else on cam. I've seen men get tricky, either they will broadcast a pic of their privates or they will broadcast themselves live doing dirty things. Heck, theres even third party software out there that allows people to broadcast recording videos (ie: porn) from their cameras.
That being said, if you were on messenger and someone started showing nudity, I would block them and then make sure I reported the user via their profile. If after you block them you cant find their profile to report them, just go here and search your block list - they should be listed:

Much as I dislike what they do, I don't want to report someone if they are within the limits of use. I read a suggestion that you could do a print screen and save it as a document to prove what happened. But I'm not sure you can attach the document in the report.

Whether a Photo has already been uploaded but left hidden as a "Private Image", or the User has just uploaded one, nevertheless he has just Checked Image to "Show on Profile" and Selected the Pic as 'Main Image' while he was IM'ing you.
Your IM window will refresh and show the newly posted Profile Pic.

"Broadcasting" is not a Profile Pic, but their Webcam must be on for you to see it.
Either Way, click the Report Member Link at the Bottom of his Profile and file your Report.
I read a suggestion that you could do a print screen and save it as a document to prove what happened. But I'm not sure you can attach the document in the report.

oh dear, I thought deletes got sent back to user with 'reason attached'...because I saw same pixs come right back through... at time I figured user was pushing it back thru....hoping to have it slip by to fellow POFer sitting there...

All of a sudden, it got bored with me and told me to go do something else. LOL ~  It is a contribution though ~ and I ran across some pretty raunchy stuff. Once it told me to go away, I went and read Success Stories and Testamonials for a couple hours. Nothing like getting a little faith while we're here.  | |
