The best thing about being over 50 is, I don't give a crap anymore what people think of me. That being said, I don't like being alone. don't like eating, sleeping, going out and spending the holidays alone. been there and done that! Seems to me, ppl who like being alone have been hurrt a tad too much and don't want to get back on the wagon... I love my dog, but only so much....

CHICAGO - A judge agreed Thursday(11/30/06) to release a man serving a 20-year sentence for a 1992 rape that DNA tests showed he didn't commit. Can you imagine if he was tried for murder and executed???

With the upcoming election, looks like the demos are going to take over at least one wing of congress(the house). Now that would make GW a lame duck pres. Is this a bad thing? On the suface some might say yes. But should the presedent have full autonomy to do as he pleases? where are the checks and balances of government? when you have all one party you start getting rediculous and draconian laws that threaten the very foundation of personal freedoms we all enjoy. Some may call it a do nothing congress, but I'm beginning to believe there's nothing wrong with that. We get too many laws on the books, we sacrifice freedom for security. I for one welcome a lively debate on the floor. Too bad it takes a majority of the public to change the views of a few. So, get out there and vote! Thanks for reading.

Term limits are nothing more then a slap in the face of the voters. the republicans tried that in the early 90's and failed miserably.
