Lauren I know exactly what u are talking about. I have had this judgment also as Im well spoken, and from a good area of Dublin. Its something that some people have an issue with. I wouldnt think they are worth knowing if they want u to apologise in some way for being from a good background. I read ur profile and u seem like a really nice person, so go for it girl and dont worry about the begrudgers.

I simply agreed with what a man said Who am I to argue. I dont agree that cheating is a symptom of something wrong in a relationship rather it is a 'personality type' The relationship could be perfect and a cheater just wants the variety, sometimes its that simple. It does put me off a man when I hear he has been the one who was dumped or left I have to say. I would prefer a man who made the decision to leave the relationship if possible.

thankfully I have never experienced being cheated on. M point here is how have so many men on pof been cheated on when statistically men cheat far more often than women. Is is a reflection of the men who use dating sites? It is off putting and makes me wonder if their wife/partner didnt want them why? its like accepting second best.

Of course we would want to know about any story in this regard, dont worry probably heard similar before. Its just a phenomenonal amount of men say all women cheat but I dont believe this and have personally never cheated on a man. They obviously thought the risk was worth it though and sacrificed the relationship for the affair. One man said it wasnt his fault his wife had an affair with her boss, I think he should have seen signs and also had to have facilitated this in some way. Keep the stories coming boys and it doesnt have to be personal.

Just curious. Every man I speak to on POF seems to have been cheated on or had his wife/partner walk out on him. Other girls on here have said the same, I was the only one brave enough to put up this thread, (yo girls) So tell us guys have u all been abused, cheated on, betrayed or abandoned? It really is mind boggling that so many have been. I know none of my many married female friends have ever cheated so wondering why so many guys on line have been cheated on . Can any one shed any light please??

Chill out for Gods sake. U ask a question on a dating site ,public forum about business in a recession and then insult two people who give u sound advice. If u ask people a question u should be able to be gracious enough to accept the answer that people have taken the time to give u, instead of 'loosing your temper ' when you dont get the answer you require. Did it never occur to you that some of the men who replied to you will tell you what u want to hear so that you will think they are such nice sweet helpful people when they are actually sociopaths in operation. U really need to get a bit more clued in. GDAD4U did not deserve the crap you gave him, nor did live life, why would you speak to a complete stranger in this fashion? it is showing you up in a very bad light indeed to potential dates.

I just wondered what anyone else thinks about this one. Im totally new to dating sites and only ever met guys in bars or clubs or through shared interests the gym etc. So when u meet someone on line and u get on very well and arrange to see each other again, do u still go on line to chat to others the next day or do u give it a rest for awhile to see how things go. I had arranged to meet a guy and just got turned off him as he seems to be on line for hours every day. The danger is if u go back on line straight away u mite put the person u like off and loose them. What do u all think?

if a guy has the body and the looks then why not? Its just a fashion the latest up to date style of photo. Not everyone wants to have a full clear photo of their face on a dating site. If u have a great body it will draw more responces than anything else
