I have had zero success on POF to date. Seems like I cant even get an email conversation going. I'm no Brad Pitt but I did not think I was that bad looking of a guy, profile is honest and says what I'm looking for. SO ladies, clue me in. Thanks, Jason

I still dont get all the people saying that they would rather be alone ?! I watched the sun come up one morning in the mountains, words cant even describe it. When I die, that memory is gone. If I had shared it with someone she would remember it when I am gone, she could tell our kids about it and they would remember the story when we are both gone...... In the end we are the people who remember us, good or bad. I only hope that I have someone to remember me, remember that I was a man who tried and loved, broken but never without hope. When I end up back in Alaska, it will be alone. " May I lose my rage in the mountains, may the winds carry her name far away and grant me peace "

My Father was 55 when he found out his wife was going to have a girl. He's 66 now and happy. I dont think you are ever to old, if your healthy and want kids. I still hope to have children and I'm 36. So If I'm lucky enough to find someone I will most likely be 37 or 38 when we decide to do it. Hard to find a women my age who thinks the same way and its hard to date younger women. I may never get a family, but I still hope.

Lesner is a strong guy, good wrestler but lets not crown him the best ever just yet. Put him in the ring with a dangerous striker and he's done. Kongo is a middle of the pack heavy weight and I know he could KO Lesner. As far as the Fedor chants go lets just remember that lots of guys who were " the best " in other companys get crushed in the UFC. Cro Kop and the ax murder just to name a few, not to mention Jackson. I'm a POS small time never will be fighter from Alaska and I would fight Lesner in a second. In fact I know of two fighters in Alaska that would hand him his ass, Brian Ryan Alaska Fighting Championship heavyweight champ for one, Pat Lumba would also give him all he could handle. There are MUCH more dangerous guys in the UFC. All he is going to do is ground and pound you out, not break a limb or KO you on your feet badly.

You have two type of people in this case.. The 30+ once or twice divorced who are so jaded from past relationships they wont give anyone new a chance. The 30+ who have not found the right person and never settled, never divorced and no kids. Hard for those two types of people to see eye to eye on what they want.

Men and Women If you dont care enough about yourself to keep at least somewhat healthy what makes you think someone would find you attractive ? There is overweight and then just lazy fat, if you fall in the second of those, get off your ass, work out, stop eating fast food every day and improve yourself. Then others will start to notice.

Scubanixie, You seem to have an open relationship with your partner as far as sex goes and thats great if it works for you. I would NOT sleep with someone I was not attracted to. See it works like this, you meet someone, find them attractive, get to know them and become more attracted to them, take your relationship from frendship to intimate. If as a women you have 5 male friends, you go out with all of them, movies, concerts, tatoo parties... have sex with all of them, kiss all of them, wake up in their beds.. just who are you " with".

Lesnar can win the fight if his ground and pound has come along. His first three fights he gets on top and does not do any damage with those lil **** rabbit punches. He needs to learn to relax, sit on the guy for a second, get position then bring the fists and elbows. Henderson has no chance Alves can only win the fight early with a hard shot to GSP. Alves is the more explosive fighter and can end it quick in the first round. If it goes past that then Skill will take over and GSP finishes him.

One day you will find a guy who does not have to tell you " all the right things". You will know he loves you because of the way he treats you, how he goes out of his way to spend time with you. We cant pick the people we love, we cant make them treat us well, we can only love them. He turned out not to be the one, so take some time and someone else will find your heart. Well here is my short story... that has left me Broken in so many pieces I dont think I'll ever be ok.. her reflection in all of them. Its time to move on so I thought a Blog about Crystal and I sounded like a good idea. I met Crystal a few years ago while attending Owens. The first time I spoke to her I knew I was in trouble, she was stunning and actually had a brain ?! I thought our chance incounter in the office would be then end of it, then BAM.. she walked into one of my classes, and with her BF ?! I spent the next semester trying NOT to talk with her, yet I did. They often asked me out to the movies or just to hang, I never did. That year Pittsburgh made it to the superbowl. I invited Nick and Crystal to my house to watch the game. Now anyone who knows me understands just how crazy I am when it comes to Steeler Football. She spent the day sitting on his lap, play fighting with him and just being herself. I had no idea just how much I liked her untill that moment, I was hurt... hurt over a girl I hardly know ? We started to talk more, and the more we talked the farther I fell. We became very good friends, talking about cars and working on them in school. One day she came over to watch a movie with me... It turned into something else. We carried our relationship into the next semester of school, seeing each other every day. Because of our love of cars and her love of Turbo Fords I gave her an 1984 SVO mustang. I thought she would love it more then I did and I wanted to show her just how much I cared about her passion for cars. This car would later become a symbol of everything not finished between us. So, I fell in love and I belive she loved me back. Because of the sick situtation she was in I had trouble getting her to move in with me. She was not ready.. I went home to Boston with her and meet her family. Cooked them dinner, talked with her Grandma and enjoyed having a week with her to myself. This made it harder for me to go back to seeing her a few hrs a day.. About a month later I sent her back home to think and something happened. I'll never know what, she would not talk to me and when she came home she told me to move to Alaska like I had intended prior to our meeting. I had a week with her and left... I lost myself when I left because I no longer wanted to go. I wanted to talk to her everyday, I wanted to hold her. She moved on, I could not. I started MMA to deal with my pain and every day it got a little better. Over the next year plus I learned to let go of her, I still thought of her everyday. Fate brought me back to Ohio... I had my own MMA production and started looking for work. Then she called... Crystal was moving back to Boston. I asked her if she needed my help and went to Nicks to help her move.There the SVO sat, in the same condition it had been in for the past two years. Covered in dust, unfinished, like us. Everything came back to me, every feeling I ever had.... Move home and not finish school, or stay her and finish. I asked her to stay with me and she did...I supported her while she finished school, paid the bills and any upkeep on her cars. Because I loved her and thats what you do in a relationship. For three months everything was perfect. But as the end of school came close she started thinking about home again.... I sent her home to think. Her "friend" Nate had her in his sights, so they spent a few weeks together. Partying, red sox games, concerts and all the while him telling her to come home. This was all she needed to leave me. Looking back if another guy could change her mind in a few weeks, she did not love me. So she came back to finish teaching, ignored me and spent all her free time with other people or talking to Nate and Steve on the computer or phone. In June she left. Some time later I got a call from Crystal crying about how I was right about her "friends". That wont change a thing, she will still talk to them and just ignor the ugly fact that they dont care about her. Her new BF will be a distraction and she will say the same things about him she said about Jermey. Hes the best, I love him so much, because she has to think that. She can not face the truth. So.. how do I feel about this. We had moments that two people share and it takes their breath away. We had moments that we wish we could take back... In the end I lost her. I regret many things about our time, but not our time. I would not change having her in my Life. I wish she was still in it. She has moved on, I have not, but the sun rises and sets. A few months ago I would have taken her back in a second to start our family, no longer. I deserve someone who does not lie to me and who loves me enough to tell the world. I wish her the best but know how the story will end.

Women want to be treated as equals Not true, women like you want to be treated as equals in the work place then princesses in your love life. If you like the guy and the worst thing that happens is you end up paying for luch/dinner... whats the problem ? Same old same old with the double standard, if the man does not pay he's a gold digger, if the women does not pay well thats ok because its the mans job. I only hit the gym 3 days a week to lift. I train daily, run 1 mile in the morning with the dog, shadow box for 3/7 minute rounds, Pad work Mondays and Wensdays, Hard Sparing and heavy bag Tuesdays and Thursdays, Ground work Friday and Sat, Sundays are for football. Weights Monday, Wens and Fri.

Ok, so if someone offered you a chance to be the figurehead of a new company and offered you a ton of money to do it.. you would not ? Dont be pissed at Kimbo because he got paid and the entire world was up his ass, putting him of espn the mag, talkshows. If he does not win TUF his carrier in MMA is most likely over, he knows that. That is a HUGE risk when he could go to Japan, IFL or any number of other smaller venues and get PAID. He instead has decided to test himself and see if he is a top notch fighter. Kimbo is a fighter, period. Just because someone else decided that he was not allowed to lose and still be a great fighter does not make it so. Look at Tiger Woods, greatest golfer in the world. But let him have a bad day and everyone screames that he's done.. an over reaction, just like Kimbo's last fight.

Ok J.Harrison... He simply tried to say that if the prez is not a Steeler fan, for life, steeler nation, then why do I want to meet him ?? Harrison does TONS in his community for kids and chairty, he simply did not want to kiss someone's ass just because they are the prez and not a true steeler fan. Good for him for calling it for what it is... Mr. Farve, when the day does come that the Gods strike you down and you can no longer throw a football let it be said that you went out on your feet playing the game you loved, not watching from home wondering what may have been. Let the man play the game he loves and hate the media for making a bigger deal of it then it is. Only Farve can say when he is done, finish on your terms and no one elses. Go Steelers !!

Banning Combat Sports, taking away man's primal nature. Thats exactly what the world needs. Better I be judged by my job, social standing, size of my bank account or what kind of car I drive ? In my opinion, see that, my opinion. Men dont know who they are anymore, walking around in their suits, living life in their 3x5 cubicles under the false lighting, kissing their boss's ass for a promotion. So some people have stepped back and said I need to test myself. Some people do something crazy like train for a 5k race, some people climb mountains and some people choose to stand in front of another man and say " I am". The cage is honest, no ego, no social standing just two men or women testing themselves against one another. Pure simple, win or lose.. fighters fight.

Ok IF we take the christian version of heaven and hell to heart, I have a question. If satan was cast out of heaven, into hell, by god... then why would he do gods dirty work ? Satan was cast out for trying to take over heaven.. thats his goal. So he does not believe what god stands for. So if I dont believe in god and he casts me out of heaven into hell... why would good old satan punish me ? We have a commen foe, god. We were both deinied paradise...... Seems to me that Satan would be more inclined to get his hands on the people in heaven and punish them for being gods favorites. So hell cant be that bad, bunch of non beilevers all plotting to burn heaven down..

I lived in Alaska for many years and loved every second. I've walked on glaciers... Hunted Bear 5 miles in the bush.. Camped next to a waterfall that was so breathtaking... White water rafted the mighty Keni River.. Walked the trails of Denali National Park.. Got into Cage Fighting and had an 8-2 record.. Sat next to my campfire and listened to the wolves sing... But to have all those wonderful experiences without someone to share them with, someone to laugh with, someone to support me, someone to remember them with.. makes me very sad.

I dont care how old you are, will you talk to your partner and be honest about what you want in bed ? Thats the real question. How can you be a good lover if your partner is to shy/scared to tell you she likes it rough in bed. The key to any healthy sexual relationship is talking about it.. you dont like something I did or want me to do something else, ask. The one thing that does come with age is I keep jumping over that line that I say I will not cross... Its more fun to experement as you get older and you find out that it truly is about having fun in the bedroom. So if your closed minded, dont contact me on here. Lets be honest, an older women looking to date a 20 something is usually about ego. The cougar myth has been way way overused lately. If your 35 and you still wear a size 3 and like the party scene go for the younger guys. If your 30lbs overweight and have 3 or 4 kids ask yourself why he would be interested. My brother loves older slighty overweight women. They have money, houses and nice cars. Its become a joke among him and his friends who can bag the white whale. I would say Im shocked, but they are young males and what would you expect from them. Date men and leave the little boys alone, or if your looking to have some young stud make you feel better about yourself then be adult enough to know what is going on. Good luck

When we give our hearts to someone we always risk getting hurt. You need time to heal and find the right person. Feeling guilty over someone who betrayed you like that shows how much you cared and how little he does. Why would you want to love someone who does not love you back ? Take some time, move on.
