going to Cuba
Posted: 7/4/2009 1:54:57 AM
I go to Cuba all the time I have met many Americans there. Like you say they either fly out of Canada or Mexico and they do not stamp your passport.
I also do not stay in Hotels did that a couple of times and found that it is not the real Cuba. I rent a Casa Particular for roughly 20-30 CUC's a day. Food can be bought very cheap at the Cuban market and you pay in Cuban pesos not CUC's. It also helps to have a fiance who is Cuban also...LOL

Che Guevara/Cuban Revolution

You obviously do not know your history. After the October crisis the US signed a treaty and agreed that if Russia removed it's missiles from Cuba they in turn would remove their missiles from turkey and agree that no further hostilities would happen against Cuba.
That did not happen though because the US sactioned terrorist actions against the country also the CIA was involved in a number of attempts on Castros's life.
I can tell you never have been in Cuba and listen to all the propaganda that your country teaches you. Anyone who has visited Cuba thanks GOD that the US is not there

What types of dating activities do you enjoy and are they different since you have gotten older
Posted: 7/4/2009 1:05:26 AM
I do not think dating has changed over the years. I date a younger woman and we go on walks, cook meals together and even go to the disco once in awhile.
We have our quiet times where we just stay at home and talk and watch TV and knock back a few beers.
I have not changed my habits since I got older....I try to stay young at heart and refuse to grow up

Beating the heat at our age
Posted: 7/4/2009 12:55:29 AM
We Canadians are a funny lot of people. In the summer we complain that it is too hot and the winter it is too cold and can't wait for the summertime.
As I always say never complain about the heat because winter is right around the corner.....as for me I love the heat and humidity call me crazy but I LOVE IT
