Are people these days 'too picky'...

When one is too picky, it sets the standards high, maybe not even attainable. I don't say have no pickiness, I say have a little, but don't be too picky. My picky? Yep, but not too picky. 'Your dream' might be someones 'garbage'.

Does a ring make a difference?

Actually, I have been engaged twice, but married once. My thought is as follows,..... The bigger the diamond, the more expensive,...... a quad, a week all inclusive vacation,.... the price of ring sometimes, then a man is more reluctant to not cheat. Thier thought process,..... 'Why screw things up? She is basically wearing $5,000.00 on her hand!' Rings do matter, sorry if the comment is one that certain people disagree with, honestly I don't care. It is my opinion.

confused... need some advice

Commitment? It is like the four letter 'bad word' on the 'dating' scene. One goes through so many bad relationships, and they then decide that once they start getting too close,... too close to 'heartbreak' they grab the running shoes and run, run, run.
'Closure' from previous relationships. If a person doesn't have it, how could they possible get 'commited' to someone else when the old 'relationship' is still 'open'?? So many 'relationships' have no beginning and no ending. Whatever happened to true commitment anyways? Does anyone hosetly even know the true meaning?

So confused has anyone ever had this?

Never thought I ever beleived in love at first sight,.... the whole Cinder****enrella story,.... but it DOES happen. When you feel a slight smile cross your face in the middle of the day because you 'feel' they are thinking about 'you', or wake-up straight out of a deep for no reason in the wee morning hours and think about 'them'. The natural magnestisum that is felt through each other. It is frieghtening,.. terrifying,... to 'know' u are suppose to be with someone, but scared of losing 'them' all at the same time. Take the 'Bull by the horns', and 'lay it on the line',.... 'You only live once'!

How to turn Friends with Benefit into a relationship.......

I have personally tried this a few times times and have ended in nothing but a heart wrenching experience. Bottom line, if is 'meant' to be, it will 'happen'. I have learned not to push the issue. If things don't change then, the next step is to 'Stop! In the name of love, before you break my heart, think it ooover.' Then stop the 'temptation'.

Does intelligence turn you on?

Intelligence can viewed as, smart in books, smart in life,..... which one is 'smarter'? Survival of the 'fittest'????!!!! To show my 'true' intelligence would make some gasp at the thought. I just know that men are very intimidated by smart women,.... or shall I say 'Strong' women, so therefore, I do ask you but one more question. What do you constitute as 'intelligent'?

If you're independant, why R U here?

I am here, and I am 'independent'. Now, ones interpretation of 'independent' can be different than anothers. I like to do most things for myself, and do my best to do things by myself, but on occasion one does need help in an aspect of their 'life'. Mine, is in the 'companion' category. I don't want to change as a person, and change to become someone I am not, lose my 'independence'. I would like to enhance my life, not change it. I am using this to try something that could possibly 'help'. In this regard, I would like to have a 'companion'. Wanting to be with 'someone else', is that such an 'independent' thing?!

cheaters

There are many ways of 'cheating',....talking online,....kissing,...touching,....it is all what you personally feel. My ex-bf 'cheated' via talking online, and I felt violated. I have become even more jaded and bitter tha I ever was before.

Why can't

maybe it was the fact that you had such 'pimpin' type of cars that the kids wanted to see what other 'stylin' stuff you had.
