Do women mind single dads with kids

I am right there with you, OP. I have a wonderful 5 year old little girl as well, and i find it impossible to meet anybody on here. I have my daughter 2 days one week, and 4 days the next week(me and my ex made an agreement without ever going to court) but nobody even gets to see that I am really a great guy, because they see the single parent part of my profile, and run away. There is no drama between me and her mom, we get along great as far as my daughter is concerned. She is married, and yeah I don't really care for her new husband, but I give him the respect he deserves, but it seems that not that many women on here want to take a chance with a single dad. It sucks, I know, but we just have to deal with it and move on. I keep seeing posts stating "the right one will come along" and I am starting to not believe that. I have been on here for 4 years, and have only gotten 2 replies, it makes me think, "am I that bad, or is it just because I have a child?" I would gladly date a woman that has a child, because I know that they would know how to treat my daughter right. I am not looking for a mother figure, just someone that is going to show her the respect that she seserves, and they have to understand that I cannot always go out on the spur of the moment when I have my daughter here. Single parents have it bad on this site, its just the way things are.

Why do men find it so difficult to date single mothers?

OP, I am kind of in the same boat, as I am a single father to a wonderful 5 year old little girl, but it seems that no matter how many people I contact on here, they all seem to get drawn away with the fact that I have a child. I used to have it stated in my profile that I am not looking for a mother figure for her, she already has a good mom, but I took it out for some reason. It just seems that single parents are not as able to find a good relationship because most people have a fear of being with someone who has children already, that doesn't make us bad people, it is just the way people are. I look at it this way, its their loss, they could've had someone great, and they ran away because of my child. Nobody takes the time to find out about how we are, they see the single parent part, and run. It sucks, but I am starting to get used to it. I have been on here since 2005, and have only gotten a reply from 2 people, and I don't think that I am a bad guy. People just don't like to give single parents a chance, and it really sucks.

Good point on that one. I just made the change to that last sentence, I didn't really like it after I read it either, lol.

Ok, I tweaked it some more, and I even added a few more photos(they might not be the greatest, but they're all I have right now. Let me know if this is any better, I'm sure itt might still need a little improvement.

Ok, I have made some changes to my profile with the given advice, so I hope that it is alot better now than it was. As for pictures, they will be up soon. I realize that those aren't the best pictures of me, so new ones are sure to come. Let me know if there are still some areas that need improvement, and I will do the necessary changes.

Thanks,

Andy
