having someone shout in your ear would piss anyone off.. it doesnt matter where your from or what language you speak.. its just rude... ok I know this is off topic but I am hoping to take a trip to Ireland and was wondering where I should go, see, stay... any suggestions ? cheers

Well I have to say it has been interesting reading the comments posted. Some being helpful others well, interesting. In the past I used to have issues with myself and had low self esteem but not so much anymore. There are days when I feel like shit but who doest have days like that... As for flirting more.. I find that hard to do.. as I previously stated I am not much of a flirt I am not into being all over a guy just to get his attention.. not me and francly never will be... Some have stated that I shouldnt feel as if I need to be in a relationship and that I shouldnt tie myself down because I am still young.. I am not talking about being tied down I am just talking about dating and having a boyfriend.. no one said anything about marrage.. I am not ready for that not now anyways.. and have never really thought about marrage... As for speaking more.. there is a lyric that I like which is often true "a wise man is clever seldom ever speaks a work, a foolish man keeps talking never is he heard" .. besides why should I talk more just to make someone else happy.. I am happy with who I am (for the most part, no one is completely happy with who they are) and where I am going in my life.. Oh and having male friends is not a problem.. I have male friends.. but they are only seen as friends and I am only seen as a friend.. I highly doubt anything will come from those relationships.. I am one of the boys, who occationally wears a dress or skirt..

j-mix :They pretend to be friendly but actually not. This is old middle eastern trick. They say, "i love you" to all women and try to touch. They are trying to touch little girls too. However they understand that this is prohibited. When i sad "Don't touch her", i immediately get angry-scared green "No, no! She is my sister!".. When you ride the taxi and agreed about price, they always try to cheat like “but I sad 10 dolla, not 2 dolla!” This is disgusting. Also you are Canadian. If you are from the US then they don't like you. All Americans B.S. Egyptians like "I’m from England or Canadia or etc..." As for your statement above, I didnt have a problem with the men because I respected their culture and did not walk around with shorts or sleaveless shirts because I knew better.. The othe females who were with me finally got the point after the first day to cover up. I also never had a problem with the taxis.. if you agree to a fair rate then there would be no problem As for me being Canadian that has nothing to do with it.. if you are rude and ignorant it doesnt matter where you are from people are not goin to like you, even if you are canadian Just stop being a prick and enjoy the fact that you have the opportunity to see and learn something new

I dont understand why we should put blame on a country inwhich people have very little. How would it feel if at one point your civilization and culture was thriving and the next it is struggling to survive.. We can not blame the egyptians for not welcoming the western world after all we have done nothing to help them in any way.. They were once a proud and honerable race.. they should not be treated with such discrimination.. I to have been to egypt and I found that they were very friendly and did nothing to anger or diswade tourists.. they thrive on tourism.. there are many poor families who beg or sell home-made crafts to tourists inorder to make some money. granted there may be a few who may hate tourists but who doesnt at times... If you looked beyond what you know, there is great beauty in the cities and people. I also believe that the continual study of the artifacts should precede but also we should respect the culture and community it is coming from. Also the relics should stay where they are found.. why should they lose their past inorder for others to see them.. in todays modern age you can view many artifacts without leaving home. just may two cents in the matter.

What most fail to realize is that the clubbing of seal pups was publisized by Green Peace.. who in turn stated that the film which was shown was of hunters clubing seal pups when in reality it was members of green peace clubing the pups because they could not find hunters who were killing seal pups in such a manner. The hole killing of seals have been exagerated because of the media and celebreties.. if such matters of any type of hunting ( not including hunting of endangered animals) were looked at in a logical manner it would be seen as a necessary evil.. because populations are allowed to run unchecked (because of lack of natural predators) an ecological event will occure and cause the dealth of many animals becuase of lack of food and the spread of disease. Because of the world we live in today hunting is nessassary granted it may be cruel but nessassary non the less.. the whole view must be examined and not just the fact that these animals are being killed but why and to what purpose.

I agree with others who have stated 'no' to those who are living at home just because it is easy.. For me I had no choice but to move back home.. I was living on my own for about four years going to school and working.. then my job fell through and the bills started to pile up so I moved back home.. I amstill going to school and trying to pay the bills with the shitty job I have.. but if I had a choice I would prefer to live on my own again.. I love my mother and sister but I became accustomed to my space and pace in which I did things and am craving that freedom again. I know many people who state that they are only living at home to save money for their own place but in reallity they are spending what they are making on frivolus things and have nothing saved up.. so in actuallity they are only living at home because of the convienence and ease.. they think mammy and daddy will take care of them forever and for some I think this is true.. they will never really know what it is like living in the real world and will crash when they have no choice to in the future.

Hell.. I have always been considered a tomboy... when I was younger my mother would get so pissed cause I would refuse to wear a dress... now a days.. I do dress up when need be.. but men I have found are not interested in a tomboy.. I am no girly girl.. I get down and dirty and have been known to beat a friend or two (males) in wresling... I play rugby with the boys and can even kick their rears in baseball.. I have always said if your not dirty you are not playing hard enough... and I suppose because I play and drink like the guys and know how to maintain and use a chainsaw that I am not seen as a woman.. even when I am all dolled up... maybe I havent been hanging out with the right people or guys are simply to afraid to approach girls like me but when confronted with a topic like this say they like strong women.. I dont know just my two cents cheers

in grade school I was involved in every and any sport I was allowed to play in high school I was involved in baseball and rowing college i play rugby outside of school I have played soccer for one year and baseball (or softball as some may state... but let me tell you that there is nothing soft about the way I play ball) for 14 years and still counting and I am up for any pick up game there may be....

Men always say they want a strong women but when they finally find one they opt for the quiet, weak ones who cant do shit for themselves.. I am a strong women and am not afraid to admit it.. but I have found that men seem to prefer the meek ones so they can be dominant and be the boss.. they are not truly looking for someone who can take charge when need be.. but those who look like barbie dolls 24/7.. I personally would not and will not change who I am.. he must want me for me and not something from a magazine.. love me or hate me.. I am who I am...

well to all you men and women who think women should not play rugby I disagree.. I didnt start playing until I got to college and I love it.. I dont find it to ruff and I find it is best when we practice with the guys and trust me when they get to know you they dont take it easy on you.. I practice and play with some of my friends and we play hard.. even if it is a fun game we pull out all the stops and work hard.. As for baseball. I have been playing for over 14 years now and I can play with the best of them and have been known to take out a few players from time to time, be it playing the bases or sliding into a bag.. I am not huge but I know how to play and that is what counts.. I am constintly questioned about rugby and no one believes I can play because if my size but I hit hard and I play hard and I have been known to take down some preety big boys on the pitch from time to time.. as for the drinking side to rugby.. well that is the best part and the time to show what you are really made of.. any of you who has had a 'few' drinks with a rugger or the full team you know what I am talking about so play what you wish and enjoy it dont let someone tell you you cant play or shouldnt because you are female..

I say it doesnt matter if its short or long as long as you like it it doesnt matter what others say.. I used to always want long hair I mean really long hair but one day I got bored and cut it off.. and I loved it others didnt understand and some didnt like it but I didnt care.. so as I said before .. do what you want and enjoy it.. cheers

thanks everyone.. I know I should be alittle more talkative and more couragus when approaching someone I have an iterest with.. I have tried talking myself into doing it a thousand times but always chicken out in the end... I think it is how I was raised.. to be quiet and speak when spoken to (you know the saying 'a lady should be seen not heard' I may have taken that into account a little to mouch) and in my household it is hard to get a word in edgewise unless I shout.... but I am trying maybe new years will change things.. after all I am going to a party where I will only know one person.. and for the age thing.. I know I am only 24 but it is difficult when your friends are all getting engaged, some 21 others 25.. and it always sucks going to a wedding by yourself.. although I did have a blast at my brothers and I went solo..

for one thing I dont see a problem with my pic.. secondly the only pics I have on my computer is from my brothers wedding and pub night with friends.. and those pics are not something that I want to post.. they are not very appropriate and the guys they would attract are not the ones I wish to speak to..so the pic I used is the only one that I though was decent.. Also I do have similar interest as some guys but that is all they see and it turns into a friendship then a relationship.. they see a women interested in sports (playing and watching)and they become buddy buddy.. so shared interestes is not a problem...

Ok.. I am new to this sort of thing, and I know it is getting down to the wire but as of yet I have no plans for new years.. and dont want to stay home again.. so maybe if I can persuade a friend and maybe find a place to crash (seeing as how money is a little tight right now) I may be inclined to go.. although I am not one to show up to places by myself.. we shall see...

its not as if I am unapproachable.. I am friendly, when I am with my friends just hanging out of having a few beer.. we joke and laugh.. its not as if i looked pissed and wish to be left alone.. I dont have a **y personality.. I am just reserved it was the way I was brought up.. I'm not load unless I have to be... it seems that the only guys who approach me have one thing on their mind. and even those are few and far between.. I am happy with myself and have surprised many an old friend of how out going I have become.. I do have fun and flirt from time to time but I know it isnt going anywhere cause.. well I dont know why I just do.. what really gets to me though is some people I know who have a bad personallity, I mean **y and cruel.. are getting the attention.. not nessessarily because of their looks, but because of how they treat people.. i dont understand.. are nice girls no longer wanted by men???

Whats wrong with me?? I am 24 yrs old, I'm not to bad looking.. average I guess.. its not as if I think I look like a gremlin or anything... I have my moments when I dont think I look to hot or wished somethings looked a little different.. but every women goes through moments like those... so why have I never been on a real date in my life.. once I went out with a friend but he was my friend thats all so I dont consider it a date... in the last couple years I have become more outgoing and more self assured but still guys seem to keep there distance.. its as if i have a disease only they can see and are afraid of being infected if they approach.. my friends and family keep asking me why I'm still single.. "your a beautiful girl, a guy would be lucky to have you" but I have a feeling they are not seeing the same thing... I want to know why I cant seem to find a guy who is interested in dating.. not just a one night stand... having a guy was never a big deal for me but I always thought it would be nice to have someone to love and hold or be loved and held.. and just have someone to talk to when things got tough of when things went great... but I now feel like there maybe something wrong with me cause when I look around everyone even those most would make fun of, have someone and I am alone.. maybe its because I am not like the average girl.. i am not perky I dont bounce off the walls and flirt with every guy.. i am more of the down to earth person.. I sit and watch people and talk to those around me.. but mostly I am quiet and speak only when I have something to say... some say i am scary because I just sit there and am not loud or as talkative as everyone else.. others say i am easy to talk to but of course most of these people are women... am I putting out the wrong vibe or something?????
