Finally met someone terrific but not allowed to date him????
Posted: 12/31/2006 9:04:35 AM
that is the problem is males. I mean they are chicken. I mean they should run there own life and not let someone else make choices.
I have lost many a best male friend just because there girlfriend says they can't talk to me.
Guys have tried to tell me that I shouldn't talk to my male friends and all I say is too bad. You are the one I am with and that is my friend. When it comes down to it if the guy doesn't respect that than I will choose my friend over the guy.
I don't get how come some men are wusses over the whole thing.
But like I said before at least now you found out who is really important to him.

Guys are just weird about those things I guess.
Myself as a women I would just deal with the issue. If I really liked the person I would over come what ever problem I faced.
I think the guy must just be very imature.
As if you find some one you like you go for it you let nothing stand in the way of true love.
As true love conquers all.
so it is good that you found out now that this guy is imature as it means he could be that way about alot of other things that happen in life.
I wish you all the luck in finding the guy of your dreams. Hey a new year is coming and it will bring you lots of luck I am sure.
Just keep turning over the rocks and the keeper will come.

Newbies don't worry all a blast. just say hi to a few people and you will have friends for life.
Hey always looking for new people to hang out with so just say hi to myself as well.
It will be a blast and new years eve is a great time to come to a party because most people are all in an even better mood.

What would you do? A potential lifemate or your dog?
Posted: 12/31/2006 7:18:43 AM
dog? I mean the dog is your family and he must love your family if he loves you?
I have dated alot of people that don't like cats or dogs in the first place. But when they leave my house they don't seem to mind.
I use to have a rottie and it scared alot of guys due to the fact that the dog was just at that guy level.
But most of the guys I know tried. I mean I would go and sit and the floor and they would sit beside me and the dog would come over and try and make friends. And they would true.
If the guy is not willing to try than he does not care about what you think, Realtionships are all about comprimise and therefore the guy must aleat try.
As far as the hair goes there is several ways to not make your dog shed as much.
1) when feeding it feed it a good food with oatmeal in it
2) when brushing use a zoom de groom brush
3) bath the dog more and use the brush as it will get the extra hair out as well.
But with the lab and rottie mix he shouldn't shed that much at all. Unless feeding him bargin basement food.

Snow for Christmas???? ,,,,,doubt it!!!
Posted: 12/25/2006 6:16:08 AM
don't need to skill in toronto though sparky. Like I said before it can snow at all the snow resprts but doesn't need to snow anywhere elese. also looks like the resorts in Qc are starting to get snow and in the ottawa valley I am sure there is going to be snow.
As right now looks like in canada they may be the only place in canada besides winipeg with snow. So mother nature can send it all there. As they must really want the snow.

I map quested best western and it is 5 mins by cab and if you have Caa it isn't that bad or if you have deals and destations you can get for 80. You may even be able to get this price from martime travel it is in the yorkville mall.
As that is who I think owns deals and =destations now.
but surf the net lots of good deals around.
Those who are staying at the best western you can also go to shoppers drug mart and buy gift cards there for your stay as than you can get shopper optium points.

I say we all send mother nature a petion and have her send all the snow for the rest of the year to flordia. Or for those who want to ski it can go up north to the ski hills. Only the hills though not the area around.

Looks like it is going to be a blast.
I just have a question. The bar seems to be scaring away peoples friends. As my friend called as she is not signed up on POf but her and her boyfriend are going to be coming with me to ring in the new year.
When she called le scratch she got told she would not be allowed downstairs as she is not Pof. Only members were allowed.
I told her that we don't have a pof card or anything and yes friends are allowed to come with us.

The Bachelor Rome Final Results

I think since he wasn't going to get engaged right than and the fact that sadie was a virgin saving it for marrage he was just a pig/dog. And he wanted to get some.
I mean when he talked about sadie he glowed he didn't seem to glow like that around Jen.
I cried for sadie I could feel her pain. She really thought she had found the one.
I mean I think she was the best choice there parents I think got along better and I think she fit into his life better.
Who knows will this one work. I mean I still think only one marrage out of the whole show. And that was from the batchorette.

I think its time to re-evaluate the POF forum rules!
Posted: 11/13/2006 8:06:48 PM
I know I rarely come here anymore as the fun threads are no longer allowed and things that we post are deleted or we get in trouble for them.
I miss the fun the forums were like a year ago when I first came. People joked had fun and goofed around and that lead to making great friends here and finding out who all was/is around.
I know POf seems to feel that everything should be done through emails.
But
1) not everyone will talk to the same sex in emails and have there accts set up that way
2) alot of times the same fun is not had.
3) plus how do you really meet people and get to know who they really are if not for the forums.
Alot of people are just going to other countries forums to have there fun and no longer staying in the ontario forums which hurts us as we never know who they are

Any Suggestions on what kind of puppy I should get?
Posted: 11/11/2006 7:06:26 AM
Google getting a dog and there are tons of tests that say which dog fits in your family.
That is the main thing check out what fits in to your family as it will make it a much better experence.
Even think about fostering and see if a scertain breed is right for you.

Dogs in my matches
Posted: 9/29/2006 10:14:37 AM
Well it shouldn't be a surprise that they have pets. As one of the first questions I ask people is do they have any pets. So if it is a big factor in weather you date someone or not that should be one of your first questions than no ones time will be wasted.

Dogs in my matches
Posted: 9/28/2006 10:33:49 AM
I think that no matter if you don't like pets or not that if the other person does you should try. Who knows what may happen. I myself have dogs and cats and have dated people that say they hated both. but before you know it they are running around the house playing with my dog. Or letting the cat snuggle up to them.
So I say before you freak give it a try. I mean the person can keep the dog away from you if it is trained right. I use to own a rottie I know about people being scared.
The main thing is don't show the dog fear and it will befriend you.
I have a very barky lab but it only does that to try and scare you and see how you react once you make friends with him you have a friend for life.

Dog Walking

Well I am not in hamilton but am a dog trainer. To calm her down some if you already haven't you might want to put a haltie on her as it makes it easier to train when around people. And makes the dog learn how to behave in public.
Also does not harm the dog in anyway.
