Is it fair to be friends with your ex?
Posted:

This my thoughts on the topic- My ex had a "friend" that they were involved but are now just friends. This friend was one of the factors that ended the marriage. I was not jealous of the friend or friendship, it was the fact of how this "friend" acted around me. She was always rude & acted like a current lover rather than just a friend. In this case, I would agree with some of what you had listed in your e-mail. But, I do think that you are setting yourself up if you demand someone to change relationships to meet your needs. You need to have someone that has the same view on ex's and if they don't you need to accept it or leave.

On line Dating makes me sick

One New Yorker to another. I hear your pain but, he just did not have the same feelings about the date that you did. It seems that you should take a break from on-line dating, it is not like meeting people in person. You do seem very needy & that you should work on. Why do you want someone that doesn't want you back.

Do beautiful women lose their sparkle?

I think it is that woman. I think her sadness washes out her beauty. I am 40, a former model & have a few wrinkles around the eyes. I still am noticed by the opposite sex and have no problems.
