Anyone a cyclist on here?
Posted: 12/25/2008 8:55:45 AM
I have been working in the cycling industry for almost 10 years and I know a lot of the dirty secrets. Norco bikes are designed at their Port Coquitlam location and assembled with imported parts at their secret assembly location.

The reason why so many parts are made overseas is that the technology to make them is very readily available, so much so that their is little to no privacy of company secrets. One of the companies I work for makes their high-end components here in the Vancouver area so that certain information does not leak out...

younger man older woman???

It's not too hard to find someone to make you smile, it's tough to find someone who will keep you smiling both inside and out.

I enjoy older women more because they know more of what they want and are willing to tell you what it is, there are fewer stresses as well (in my experiences). Younger women seem to be more dramatic and harder to deal with...

An older woman really knows how to be herself and comfortable doing so, that in itself is sexy.

Cougars imply an older woman is on the prowl.

Puma/Jaguar is a cougar in training.

MILF is a Mother I'd Like to F*ck.

When it boils down to it a cougar and a MILF are both older women who enjoy the company of a considerably younger man. With youth comes a lot of bonuses...

The weather
Posted: 12/22/2008 9:34:15 AM
I am very much looking forward to the spring, this snow is something I can live without. Mind you the idea of spending a night or two alone with someone indoors while it snows does have it's appeal!

I am going to be spending this winter working lots just so it goes by fast...

All you need to be considered a cyclist is to have the passion to ride. I have been in the cycling industry for years now (almost 10 years) and cyclists come from many different walks of life. From the well to do types to the paycheck-to-paycheck types, it's all about the passion.

Cycling is something of an equalizer; as soon as you get on the bike it doesn't matter who you are, just matters that you are out there doing what makes you feel good.

I ride almost year round, I use my mountain bike as a form of fitness and transportation. Since we have gotten this snow, I have put the bike away till next season. :(

Just what I needed to hear.
Posted: 12/21/2008 11:12:45 PM
After reading some of these posts, it's exactly what I needed to hear. If only I read this a couple months ago things may have turned out for the better! lol I do miss my ex but we are both better off not talking and I want her to be happy... After all of our texts and arguments time is the only thing that will heal our wounds, I know she loved me but she made some bad decisions (as did I).

The people we love the most happen to be the people we also hurt the most, it's a fact. My lesson learned is to not make decisions or reply to emotions on impulse; take the extra time so that I am calm and collective.

I am new to this site and I was curious to find out who on here is a cyclist. Include what kind of riding you prefer and perhaps the bike you ride... I'll start.

I really enjoy some technical mountain biking, I ride a new 243 hardtail... Handmade here in Vancouver. I am thinking about buying an Electra beach cruiser for the summer. I am getting old here so I have to start taking it easy!

I think younger guys dating older women is fine, it's worked fine for me at least. I dated a woman 16 years older than me, her and I had some great times. After all it's about who the person is, not how old they are.

Just because you love someone does not mean you can work things out, sometimes it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Love is a very complicated thing and sometimes professionals will not help the situation, you know when it's time to let go and move on. The future has many unknown possibilities, why dwell on something that ended up not working?

Having a friend is much better than not having one at all.

Sure.not: Relationships are as complicated if not more than an alcohol addiction; love is as intoxicating as alcohol, both make you do strange things.

Introduce Yourself Here....
Posted: 12/21/2008 3:04:04 PM
Hello to you all!

I am new to this whole singles website thing, friends who have found success on this site have suggested I try it out. So here I am, giving it a shot.

I am single living in Vancouver riding my mountain bike as much as I can. I moved to the Commercial Drive area about 6 months ago and I love it here. I work in the cycling industry and it is the centre of my passions, I live to ride and ride to live. Though I do make time for fun in between rides!

Anyways, glad to be here. :)
