To female community of POF: I have noticed a significant trend in males ages 18-31, that there is a severe lack of social grace and etiquette. Don't get what I mean? If you were in a bar and a guy came up to you and was referring to themselves in the third person like "You want a piece of the Nick-ster?" Would you seriously be interested? Isn't that socially awkward? Now why would that be ANY different on the internet?...People need to have tact. Not everyone is the same kinda person I know. There is a pot cover for every pot. I'm just deathly afraid that a lot of men out there are like this or maybe I just attract a lot of nutty guys. In a nutshell guys come off as socially awkward and lack tact usually during a phone convo after talking on im and exchanging messages back and forth. -WNECchick

it's like meeting people anywhere you can meet a person and not like them after talking to them but at least you can meet up with the ones that seem decent and if you connect you will be on the phone for hours and everything will line up in place when you meet my 1st love and I were 16 when we met and was probably the best thing that ever happened to me it's the person, not the place you meet.

totalpackage, hate to break it to you but guys don't like the "wifey" type. They get scared if they know if a girl isn't a ho who is going to jump his lamp...a respectable one they can take to their mom is NOT what they are looking for. I've been told this to my face that i'm too "good." They want single serving dates. Replacements, if you will. I HATE**** men since they don't have much to offer. Those who brag have nothing to brag about. They get pissed when they know that I know that. Nice guys do exist but they are usually taken already. The girl isn't always prettier or smarter...it's like...hmm guys would rather spend money on a Big Mac cuz they know its cheap and it'll stifle your hunger but they might not splurge for a good steak due to cost and taking a "risk" . So in a nutshell...guys are an equal problem. You are not innocent either!

i get the same thing and someone told me WHY -cuz im the "wifey" type...guys are scared to get attached to someone good for them... this guy who had a gf wanted to get with me...and i found out why he had knocked up his gf and realize he couldnt have me...he had to settle for his gf cuz he now had to raise the kid for hte rest of his life... guys will stay with what they have -rather than take a risk
