What you have now as pics, aren't the greatest. A good primary pic should be a head/shoulder shot with a big smile, sans sunglasses, hats, caps, hoodies, booze, friends, etc., as women want to see YOUR face and eyes clearly.

I am a community artist involved with helping youths and young people. I love it and get a lot of inspiration from helping people.

Define 'community artist.'


Been writing and producing music for quite a few years now, it's my passion and what makes me tick.

Ok, what kind of music? Expand on that and why does it make you trick?


[I have a great appreciation of coffee, wine and eating out. Usually try to get a holiday somewhere once a year.

Any particular coffee, wine and food? Again, expand on these things. It will serve well for leading into topics of conversation.

Read the writing tips at the top of the forum page and implement many good ideas. You have the bare basics of a profile, but really need to beef it up much more - give the ladies something to bite into.

Thus far, it's rather dry. Include some humour and also a sentence or two about the woman you seek; her traits, etc.,

Sitting at Heathrow awaiting my flight to Belfast, behind me, I heard two people speaking in a very heavy Belfast accent. My surprise was turning around to see two Asians.

I have an accent; it's 'sing-songy' and Northern Irish. Albeit I have lived in Canada for quite a while, I'll be damned if I am going to become totally 'Canadian-ized.'

Growing up in Northern Ireland, it was fairly easy to note where people came from regarding the dialect.

Both pics are too dark and muddy. I wouldn't recognize you if you sat beside me at a bar.

What you have now as a primary pic, is muddy and dark. It doesn't show you off in a good light. Think of many women who use their cell phone to view a man's profile, seeing the pic is too small and dark, thus pass you by immediately.

Try for a head/shoulders shot, WITH a big smile, sans all sunglasses, trees/flowers, friends, hats, caps, hoodies, booze, etc., as women want to see YOUR face and eyes clearly.

RE: Which pic is best. The primary pic you have now, albeit your smile is kind of forced, like a, "Hurry up and take the damn pic!"

When one 'smiles' it shows in their eyes ( which also smile ) Can you do better? Have a more natural setting? Have a friend tell a good joke/story and snap a pic of you mid-laugh?

Well, the only 'good' thing is your last pic where you're flashing that great smile! Use it as a primary pic and see if you can crop out more of the lady involved. What you have now as a primary pic, is too dark and muddy, plus non-smiling. Women want to see your eyes, so remove the sunglasses! Don't forget, women use a cell phone to view your profile and if they cannot see your face because it's too dark, or whatever, you're passed by immediately.

Profile; what profile? You're coming across as lazy and I bet you typed that up in two minutes. begin again. Read the writing tips at the top of the forum page and implement many good ideas. Include a touch of humour. Include, who you are, what you're about and whom you seek. Mention in a couple of sentences about the woman you seek; her traits etc.,

You've got to make a much better effort or the ladies won't bother with you at all.

What's your initial msg like to women?

In ALL your pics, you have sunglasses sitting on top of your head. Don't do that.

Delete. You're sounding needy. Women know what to do if they're interested and do not require prompting.

OP: A primary pic should be a clear head/shoulder shot with a big, toothy smile, sans guns, sunglasses, hats, caps, hoodies, booze, friends, gangsta signs, babies etc., etc., as women want to see YOUR face and eyes clearly.

All the pics you have now aren't good at all. I would never recognize you if you sat down next to me at a bar!

Don't forget, many women will want to view you on their phone and your pics would come off a muddy/unclear, thus pass you by immediately.

You're in need of a good primary pic. It should be a clear head/shoulder shot and flash that smile! Sans women who own a bar, cops, friends, sunglasses, hats, caps, hoodies, booze, gang signs etc., Women want to see YOU, your eyes and face! The rest of your pics, keep for the gallery as you have now.

What's your initial msgs like to women?

Spruce Grove; Nice! I was 16 when I was there attending my cousin's pre- wedding party ( Spruce Grove Inn ) Great memories! ( I resided back home then - Ireland )

A full-length pic would be great, OP. Women want to see what they're getting!

The other day someone I know reported two of my images 'as a joke'

I doubt your friend's reporting your pics would have been the ultimate say on deleting them. It takes numerous public votes to determine whether a certain pic will be flagged and removed. Something in your pic or pics, would have triggered the flag.

There's your response. Don't go meeting anyone without a confirmation. Albeit not a guarantee they'll show WITH a confirmation, either. Dating is a process of elimination.

NO bare torsos are correct! It's the rules you agree to BEFORE uploading any pics. Go back and read the rules.

Put a shirt on.

Time and time again it's shown on POF women do NOT like shirtless pics. You're doing yourself no favour. Shirtless pics are against POF rules and will result in your pics being nuked once found or reported. Upload them again and again, and your rights are revoked - permanently.

Your primary pic has the expression of someone who just smelled a bad fart. Keep the goofball pics at an absolute minimum, don't go overboard.

A good primary pic would be a head/shoulder shot WITH a big, toothy smile, sans all feathers, friends, family, caps, hats, booze, sunglasses, hoodies, gansta signs etc., as women want to see YOU and your face clearly.

Your profile is centered way too much around you ( I, the personal pronoun ) and comes off as a tad monotonous so, give a thought toward the woman you wish to meet, her traits etc.,

Have a read of the profile writing tips at the top of the forum page. They offer some really great ideas! Implement some!

What's that phallic type thing in your main pic? Your facial look isn't attractive, either. You're appearing quite simple looking. SMILE with teeth!

Your attempt at a better profile isn't good at all. You didn't bother reading the writing tips I mentioned in msg;6.

Use punctuation, paragraphs, grammar, spelling and good sentence structure.

Right now, your profile is appearing as some 8 year old, illiterate kid scribbled it.

The only way to see if a person still has a profile on POF is to go on to POF, which means you need a profile here.

I believe that's incorrect. On the start-up page, you can do a search for a username.

I dated a guy whom had the silicone beads under his penis skin. He never told me.

The room was dark and initially touching his penis I felt the beads and thought, " WTF is THAT!?" I withdrew my hand immediately! I thought it was some kind of disease or something.

Wish he told me before hand what they were before my mind exploded thinking of all kind of diseases!!

Over all, a good start!

Your latter pics are a tad dark. Makes you appear you're in your mum's dimply lit basement. Try for better! A good primary pic would be a head/shoulder shot WITH a toothy smile ( so far, you're very tight lipped in all pics) sans hats, caps, hoodies, friend, booze, gansta signs etc.,

You may want to tie in your username with the Gaelic, IE: If you're originally from Ireland etc., Give the reader something to go on.

You mention you love the country and nature. Ok, where? A fave places?

Quiet locations. Ok, again where? mention some fave places you've come across.

See how these things can help build a better profile?

Same with reading some books. Authors? Faves?

Mention in a couple of sentences about the woman you'd like to meet; her traits etc.,

For a good primary pic, one should see a shoulder/head shot WITH a big smile, sans all dogs, kitties, caps, hats, kiddies, booze, hoodies, sunglasses, etc., as women want to see your face and eyes clearly.

Pic 2: You look seriously pissed off.

Pic 3; is the only decent shot you have. At least you have a bit of a grin going on there.
