It's called adult communication 101. Calling men does not make you clingy. Who taught you that? You don't want to be a short term fling but you want someone to gravel over you and you refuse to communicate. That's an issue you have to resolve yourself on your own before you date or get seious with anyone. Anyeone who puts up with that is WEAK!

I'd say it's because they are not true to themselves. I would never think about posting a pic that is more than a year or two old, more or less post one of me in my 20's. I wonder if I could post me as an 18 year old, would that fly? It's sad. But, that is the net for you. From what I have experienced, women here want you to like what you see (them in the past) fall for the present character, and then not be discouraged when you see the REAL DEAL! But, they are living a lie. Everyone, men and women need to be up front about who they are - that is the only way you'll know if someone really likes you for who you are. I think I am going to write a how to guide on how to meet a legit woman/man (wouldn't know) on the net. You know, what to stay away from, do's and don'ts, red flags - I have a really good top five! So, it's disappointing, but keep fishing, a legit one will pop up!

It is amazing how many times people misrepresent themselves. You only learn half about the person and then when you meet them you see the full person. You may be able to trick people in the beginning, but eventually the truth will come out. At this stage in your life, you should be able to smell a player, but some of the POF people are pretty sly. Instead of a muffin, how about a pastry?

Why allow to distance to be a factor in not getting to know someone? Think outside the box. There are a lot of really cool people out there, and they don't all live in my town.

What's the big deal? Numbers are numbers.... who cares whether it is five minutes or five weeks. Talking to people never hurt anyone. But, I do acknowledge a lot of losers ruin it for the legit people. For those who give fake numbers is a good indication why they are single.

What is it about communicating? Are there really some serious idiot men out there or what? Get to the phone, talk -see if there is a connection. Online IM'ing really doesn't do much as it can be anyone behind the screen. I have been told - "Call me - here's my cell" and they never pick up or called me back- really weak. After IM'ing for a little bit you should be comfortable with a call.....sucks there are people that don't know how to behave.

Since my puppy ate my cell-phone I don't have his phone number.....problem solved.

blondebonobabe - that's a good one, too bad, ummm, like more than one person has used that excuse before. Real mature. Kind of like someone saying, "my puppy ate my computer chord so I couldn't send an email", and at the same time, "no land lines were available for days." Thinking we were in 1467, I would have at least expected a messenger on an horse, if not, a very nice pigeon.

Dude - I have had several women give me their cell phone digits for me... THEY NEVER PICKED UP! And never called back! How weak is that? It is what it is, they got problems. Move on. I think you are wasting your time looking at who'son when and where. That's why they are here -because they want to be somewhat anonymous and unaccountable. It's all numbers here.

Divine - I love cake by the way, pastry too. Bottom line, is eliminate the games, and there won't be so much time wasted! It's ok to not be interested! It's ok to be interested! How can anyone crtiique enthusiasm. Must be all the big number of losers that ruin it for the real legit dudes!

If you want to talk, talk. If you don't, don't. In fact, just say you are not interested and move on. If you like the guy, and you want to talk why must there be a waiting period? Since when did a phone call within hours of a first date indicate a guy is a stalker? Look at it this way, when life is over - it's over. You can't call anyone. So, why even bother with all the b/s? Just do what you want to do.

Well, we meet women who do the same thing...so, hope that makes you feel a little better. It does suck - but it happens on both sides. Not only are there plenty of fish, but plenty of games too. It's a waste of time that's for sure. You just have to keep contacting people, because there are legit ones out there.

I hope you would call as soon as it is convenient. Why wait? Find out if there is a connection and either get together or move on. I don't understand all the hesitation and games that are played online.

What's up with the head games that women play? It's a bit frustrating to meet so many immature people online. What happened to respect, courtesy and professionalism? Why is there the need, to not be straight up? - either you are interested or you are not. It's not a big deal. Women's thoughts please. Thanks.

How To Search
