Can you re-take the Personality test?
Posted: 1/19/2009 5:40:23 AM
the results of the Preferred Expression of Affection section of the test are incorrect. when you click the buttons to answer the questions in this section the test gives a readout as if you'd chosen other buttons. the description doesn't match the questions you answer. so basically you can disregard this section whenever you see it at the end of someone's test results. i haven't seen any responses from admin yet as to whether they are aware of it being a problem. i would use this test if it didn't misrepresent the person who answered it.

FEATURE: POF Relationship Assessment Test

Just checking in to ask again if the "Preferred Expression of Affection" scoring problem can ever be resolved.

I would really like to include the test results in my profile eventually. Having results that are the polar opposite of my character is not desirable. It reduces my trust in others' test results as well.

this is like a year and a half ago... the results of this section of the test are still incorrect. when you click the buttons to answer the questions in the section Preferred Expression of Affection the test gives a readout as if you'd chosen other buttons. the description doesn't match the questions you answer. so basically you can disregard this section whenever you see it at the end of someone's test results. i haven't seen any responses from admin yet as to whether they are even aware of it being a problem. like the user called algorithmic said, i would use this test if it didn't misrepresent the person who answered it.

i've got to say that i greatly appreciate this and the chemistry features of this site.

Bug Report: New Plentyoffish Test
Posted: 1/17/2009 6:56:57 AM

It seems this issue will never be fixed. Many of us have the same problem with this one section of the test, "Preferred Expressions of Affection". It appears to register exactly the opposite of what the correct results should be.

Is this still unresolved? Is there a more appropriate place for me to ask this question?

I 'm a decidedly touchy-feely type. I get a lot out of a little contact; holding hands, a brush of the cheek, and so on. The test produced the exact opposite result. I thought perhaps I had selected incorrectly for a couple of questions...

I had the same experience. However, I know I answered the questions about touch with specific clarity.
