New PoF feature for women only - Contacts
Posted: 11/20/2012 5:23:26 AM
go knock your self out ... http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bint
i dont like peanut butter but dont try and insist everyone dislike it as well.
Would all men be happy? I doubt it. Even with this arrangement I'm sure there would be plenty of empty inboxes. I imagine there would be more than a few bruised ego's when they find their inbox isn't suddenly overflowing with women suddenly wanting them.
i suspect most blokes would not be bothered in the slightest if that were the case, only ones who would be concerned are those who use the site to pass there time ....

one of the things about this feature (might even be why) is to get the bints messaging first ... quite a few profiles i have seen expect the bloke to message them first for some reason? can remember reading a while ago about a suggestion of only women be allowed to instigate first contact ... do think thats the best way forward and will get rid of "look at me, keep me entertained crowd"

The Living Wage.
Posted: 11/12/2012 8:13:02 AM
Ed Miliband has unveiled plans to deliver a "living wage" of at least £7.45 per hour for millions of people, if Labour wins the next election.
Whitehall contracts would only go to firms paying the living wage, while those who paid less could be "named and shamed", said the Labour leader.
His speech came at the start of a week of events promoting the idea.

could not make it up if you tried ... that lot were in power for 13 years and hardly set the country alight with it or improving the n.m.w by a staggering amount.

Flatsharing over 45/50 and high London rents
Posted: 11/12/2012 8:08:54 AM
London rents are hiking up higher and higher every year and salaries are not. Some of us are not fortunate enough to be able to afford to buy, some of us have and have had to sell up in the past, some have just never bought at all and missed the bandwagon - so, where does that leave us older folks when it comes to renting a flat in London. Must we pay the extortionate rents or is it time to stamp on greedy landlords? Should rents be capped? I am interested in your opinions as I am looking for a case to take to parliament. I am also thinking that there should be a web-site dedicated to people over a certain age for sharing. Everything out there is geared around twenty and thirty year olds.
the answer is simple ... move!!

Crazy Drivers
Posted: 11/3/2012 5:55:09 AM
@ badge I get the point but there are times you need to use your brakes are you trying to tell me its safer to go from 60 mph to 40 with a queue of traffic behind you without braking?????
whats the queue of traffic behind you got to do with the price of bacon? if you obey the rules of the road and in control of your engine then braking is not an issue as such, if indeed you are struggling with knowing when to brake etc i would suggest having a trip out with a driving instructor who would only be to happy to put your fears at ease.

Crazy Drivers
Posted: 11/2/2012 8:35:42 AM
@ Karmasuitsyou and thesownrose, no I didnt mean on the motorway I mean people that literally dont break, as in if their turning into a side road of a main road, when they come to speed ramps, when their turning round a sharp corner, when theres an obstruction up ahead, when their entering a roundabout and I do keep my distance from the car in front
think you are missing the point, a decent driver does not have to use the brakes, more you use the brakes the less control of a vehicle you are. its quite easy to slow a car/bike down without using the brakes, just go down the gears and the engine does it for you, whilst in control at the same time.

Ghosts!!!

a little bit off topic but in the same type of mode ....
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2226129/Two-professional-mediums-fail-test-demonstrate-psychic-powers-laboratory-conditions.html
quite interesting how those that try and publish about their "ghost walks" etc and mediums always charge a fee isnt it?
plus add to the mix if there was such things as ghosts then why havent they done something a lot more public? and why do they only come out in the dark? lol

Crazy Drivers

i honestly dont think the police are strict enough with cagers (car drivers) as see them regular with holding on to phones, smoking and cup of hot liquid (sometimes all 3) and yet they think its perfectly acceptable to do those things.
wonder how many think its ok to neck down 5 pints and jump in and drive a car with the kids in the back? and yet as per the examples above its just as bad or even worse to do those things.

Frankie Boyle has won his racism case
Posted: 10/23/2012 5:29:31 PM
im glad he won his case as with all comics .... if you dont like then change the channel or simply switch off.
i would not be surprised like with most media that the reporter or even editor had an agenda against the bloke for differing reasons.
as for the racist element ... could you imagine the likes of frank carson or jimmy cricket being sued for being racist? it honestly just shows how society is always offended for others which really does piss me off.

Supermarket fuel has less mpg
Posted: 10/22/2012 8:15:39 AM
petrol wont give you the same m.p.g like it used to years ago .... and why?
because now ethanal is added to the mixture which is no where near as good as quality as the old stuff, just ask any classic car driver, racer, biker who has a bit of knowledge.
this is one of the cons for the last ten years, the water down your fuel whilst till charging you for the same rate .... fair? i dont think so. ask any government official or petrol company and they will get out the old excuses of environment etc which is a load of crap. after all how can lower m.p.g be better? but more money ends up in their paws.
on a bit of a side note the eu have started to clamp down on countries producing fuel from such stuff such as sugar beet, claiming its effecting food prices!! which again is another load of crap considering the eu actually pay farmers NOT to grow crops, you really could not make it up if you tried.

bad news on energy prices (again)
Posted: 10/15/2012 8:17:44 AM
cannot believe people would actually be in favour of re nationalising the power companies, and obviously look back in those dark times with rose tinted glasses.
imagine it if for some stupid reason it happened .... we have a bad winter with lots of demand for the energy, step forward mr socialist demanding every one in his tribe gets a 10 percent increase in wages, government says no, workers out on strike, no or limited fuel for house holders.

When Will the Job situation improve in the UK?
Posted: 10/11/2012 7:48:05 AM
I know what the law says, but i think you will find that there are quite a few that take no notice of our laws whatsoever, its not till they are stopped by the police that these people are found out........ they do not show up in the police car mounted automatic number plate recognition cameras even, as they can only scan British number plates. I know of quite a few cars round with PL, AL,LT..etc etc plates that have been here for the two years i have lived in this town and i bet they do not have tax or MOT in any country.
hence why road tax should be scrapped and a penny put on the price of fuel as that way every one pays and cuts another layer of pen pushers out of a job. even in the isle of man you dont need a m.o.t except for if the old bill catch you with a broken light etc, as for the insurance .... well this is where europe falls apart, could get a quote for a normal car or whatever for 600 quid but phone some company in poland or any of the eastern countries and no doubt be under a hundred quid is that fair?
what quite a few in the job market is lacking is a kick up the backside, they think a job will fall into there lap, or because they went to university they are entitled to a top job. it just does not happen like that, whats wrong with going self employed?

it is not racist to be against such a religion whose goal seems to be world domination and to treat anyone who is not a muslim as a sex slave, source of income or just a slave
sounds like every religion in general .... oh but were called missionaries years ago lol
never saw the program hopefully catch up with it on the website, wonder if the author will have a fatwa against them?

Social housing sell off
Posted: 8/21/2012 10:20:51 AM
interesting comments made by "scottish lady" on guardian articles.
anyone know if there's any truth in these comments?
probably not as no doubt working for the guardian there is an agenda ....
as only have to read the first few lines ... wonder what she said about the labour party and their mistakes and fiddles etc.
best to read the actual report
http://www.policyexchange.org.uk/publications/category/item/ending-expensive-social-tenancies
in quite a few areas the report is correct after all why should the taxpayer keep footing the bill for the upkeep and making the country a laughing stock .... two families live in chelsea area, one has had to work there nuts and tits off to get there whilst the other only has to fill in a form, is that the correct way to go?
if it gets the british construction workers jobs and people housing, im all for it.

torture for those who torture
Posted: 8/18/2012 6:48:59 AM
its all about the human rights act etc to keep us perceived as us being a fair nation to those who fall foul of the law.
this is what i dont get about the people in this country ... majority are quite prepared for the torture of a insane man to to get details for closure yet if it was an extremist bomber who knew where a bomb was going off would the attitude still be the same? dont forget bombs dont discriminate between babies either.
i do agree with the posts earlier about the actual law between the advocate, lawyer and the client, it is confidential and they should not break it on which brady knows it and does indeed play on it.
just a shame the mother could not have closure before she died and she was in poor health and dare say over the past few years it has not helped her health.

so how would you go out for a day or picnic with out a car? take a train or bus?
the last place most people would want to be on a day out is shoved on a train/bus for half the day next to smelly drunks or screaming brats.

Possible Imminent UFO DISCLOSURE!!
Posted: 8/11/2012 7:36:39 AM
alien life is just a pile of sludge on some moon where it is constantly pitch black and freezing cold.
scotland??
Yes but that would be tantamount to an admission they are telling the truth. So even if the military really were hiding recovered extra terrestrial technology, the idea is outlandish enough that no one will take claims of "ex-military" people seriously
quite a lot modern aircraft were actually based on the nazi inventions as they were miles ahead of the game but suffered from dodgy management lol
but say for example a craft was found and examined and understood .... dont you think the government who owned it would using it for their own ends. think about it, if they found another way of propulsion then it would be used in there aircrafts etc instead of a need of oil.

I was woken up by an alien being who explained how to achieve world peace.
So I killed him.
Nobody fecking wakes me up.
in all seriously though do people actually believe all these sources? i mean if any of the ex military was telling the truth they would be done under the official secrets act.

quite interesting about mike oldfield who helped do the opening ceremony is a tax exile ... so makes you wonder why danny boyle the socialist would want someone like that involved ... especially with his political jabs.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2185154/What-Mike-Oldfield-really-thinks-Britain-Full-single-mothers-muggers.html
though do tend to agree with mike oldfields views on modern day Britain.

All I want is good conversation...
Posted: 8/7/2012 10:32:05 AM
well all of the females on this site I would imagine, by referring to us all as 'bints'!
I daresay that most of the other women on this site are not either. <--- remember saying that? so you imply there are "bints" on the site?
just because I am female, doesn't mean that I watch soaps - I don't!
keep stamping that foot .... you never know the earth might stop spinning.

Bints......Charming. I guess after a while on this site it gets tedious keeping up the facade of being a decent person. So reverting back to true form and name calling is where it's at?
rather tell the truth ...
so for you to generalise the women on here is bang out of order.
afraid not as guess which sex watches the soaps more?
Your comment about the messages I get with just a cell number - Im hardly going to phone a complete stranger, after having had no contact with him, just for a chat am I? Once we have exchanged a few messages, then yes, of course, we would have a phone chat.
so what can tell of a person after a "few" messages?
what about insulting people, is that ok?
who did i pacifically insult? feel free to report though with your rest of post has actually broke the rules of the forum but hey ho ....
The thread that was started by a guy, basically referring to the same thing, was removed swiftly. It's interesting to see that when a female starts this kind of thread it gets a lot more pats on the head.
I have written both kind of messages. The short and sweet "Hi, how are you. Liked your profile. Would you like to view mine and we could take it from there" To the messages that refer to specific points in their profile. They have an equal success rate. (And by success i mean they both get minimal response).
Swings and roundabouts.
exactly ....

I'm tired of guys talking to me and say "Hi, u k?" All I want is someone who I can have a decent fun conversation with, am I asking for too much?
may i ask how many guys do you actually message first?
Oh, and regularly get messages with just a cell phone number and 'call me' - yeah right!
ever thought they might get bored of playing email tennis ....
most of the bints on here want to play endless emails and not realising its an actual dating site not something for them to use whilst waiting for there soaps to start, you see it on the profiles with keep me entertained or make me laugh etc though its good fun inboxing them numbers for a clowns act whilst saying this should do it for you! lol

Should alchoholics be given DLA?
Posted: 8/1/2012 5:56:09 PM
again most people are actually making judgments with out knowing the actual facts ...
disability living allowance is based on what "care" the person requires and needs, not on the actual illness they have, which works out the more "care" a person needs the higher rate of disability they get.
in theory a person suffering from alcohol problems should not see a penny as it should go to the carer to pay for the actual care.
read into that what you will as goes straight across the board for those others suffering from smoking, being over weight etc ....
d.l.a needs to be changed radically and quite quickly as the money is going to people who dont have any care but those who do require are not getting it. plus in reality at least 3 signatures should be on the form gp, social worker, physico etc but at the same time it may cost to much to investigate a false claim then actually hand money over.

Can you have strong feelings for someone just by messaging etc
Posted: 8/1/2012 8:48:36 AM
hope it goes well for you o.p .... but as a cynic always found messaging a little over rated and can be read into to much. you dont get what type of tone they are saying in a message etc as for feelings? most likely the person has not had a jump in a while and getting a bit to excited lol
can message someone for a hundred times a day and really does not make a blind bit of difference compared to meeting them in the flesh so to speak.

Human rights brigade in trouble lol
Posted: 8/1/2012 3:59:25 AM
The right to life – protects your life, by law. The state is required to investigate suspicious deaths and deaths in custody.
oh yes, bit like the bloke who was pushed to the ground and died ....
The prohibition of torture and inhuman treatment – you should never be tortured or treated in an inhuman or degrading way, no matter what the situation.
how many would feel that if they had a relative who could of been saved etc
The right to liberty and freedom – you have the right to be free and the state can only imprison you with very good reason – for example, if you are convicted of a crime.
i know quite a few who have been locked up with out charge for a few days, never mind bailed/remand for months on end.
The right to a fair trial and no punishment without law - you are innocent until proven guilty. If accused of a crime, you have the right to hear the evidence against you, in a court of law.
take it you have never been before a crown court? put it this way its guilty until proved of innocence same as when you have a row with tax man, social or local council.
Respect for privacy and family life and the right to marry – protects against unnecessary surveillance or intrusion into your life. You have the right to marry and raise a family.
Freedom of thought, religion and belief – you can believe what you like and practise your religion or beliefs.
Free speech and peaceful protest – you have a right to speak freely and join with others peacefully, to express your views.
can you not see how it cant work .... what would happen if i set up a religion which stated my house was lined of pork and a klaxon had to be played every hour? after all its my human right to do this isnt it?
No discrimination – everyone’s rights are equal. You should not be treated unfairly – because, for example, of your gender, race, sexuality, religion or age.
then why is there ethnic support groups allowed to spring up with tax payers funds if we are all equal with the human rights?
to be honest im glad its being clamped down on especially as it was the brain child of the last government which good old trevor phillips was a member on ... jobs for the boys eh?
as per say what they do ... wonder if those that work for them are the percentages which reflects the actual population ....

Olympics Opening Ceremony
Posted: 7/28/2012 5:26:05 AM
watched most of it in the pub and most of the reaction at the start was wtf!! and asked if you get a free l.s.d tablet with your ticket lol interesting what was tweeted as well
Conservative MP Aidan Burley: "The most leftie opening ceremony I have ever seen - more than Beijing, the capital of a communist state! Welfare tribute next?"
And: "Thank God the athletes have arrived! Now we can move on from leftie multi-cultural crap. Bring back red arrows, Shakespeare and the Stones!"
do agree with some of what he said as again most in the pub thought it was to p.c and should of kept politics out of it, plus could not highlight a few of the mistakes .... playing u2 tracks, sure they are from the republic of ireland? and how sad was it some of the music choices especially paul mac at the end. should of been the stones with start me up or the kinks waterloo sunset
edit vvv as far as im aware the republic of ireland is not part of great britain and indeed have there own olympic squad.

have noticed a few profiles relating to this book or character and .... just totally ignored the person as lets be honest if they get all fascinated over someone who dont exist ..... those who cannot tell the difference between fiction and non fiction are either very stupid or has need of a doctor ... in some cases both!!

i honestly do believe that there a fair few who just want a "text" buddy or relationship for various reasons, most likely due to self esteem, through to wanting to look popular on the bus or at work. quite bad when they are 30 plus mind you! lol

Posted: 7/20/2012 4:00:02 PM
well i think fraud and deception are rather strong words to use... i legitimately cancelled the transaction.and was legitimately given a refund, and also was totally honest with the courier fella that as far as i was concerned the sale had been cancelled.. so i didnt deceive anyone..
yes you did, you willingly signed for something knowingly you had a refund!! did the guy put your arm around your back and scream sign it? ... like i said its either fraud or theft, whats the difference between what you have done compared to a benefits thief or m.p claiming expenses what they are not entitled too? no difference as all of them know whats wrong and whats right.
what did you expect from putting this up on a public forum? ... one only has to wonder and will agree to being guilty of giving you on-line attention ...

what you have done is commit an act of either fraud or theft depending on how the cps see it. you already knew you had canceled it and getting a refund ... yet you willingly accepted it. if i were you would ring argos up and explain rather quickly or otherwise except the punishment.

with the union pcsu set to go on strike next week (which only 20 percent voted, and only 50 percent of that 20 percent said yes) hoping to disrupt the Olympics and the image on great britain abroad, whilst many public sector workers face the hardship of pay freezes and indeed the private sector you would of though it would of been .... we support you fellow brother/sister from the unions would you not?
alas no many have given themselves pay rises what the ordinary worker could dream about ... and no doubt more then there salary.
http://www.taxpayersalliance.com/home/2012/07/research-trade-union-rich-list-exposes-union-fat-cats.html
dont you think its a bit hypercritical of the unions to pay there leader more then the lowest pay percentage wise?
for those in a union are you happy to see these figures?
what about those in the public sector who do the union work whilst being payed by the public purse? are most happy at that thought?

The governments new benefits system.
Posted: 7/18/2012 4:14:20 AM
I'm not totally sure what the situation is outside the West Country, but most council car parks seem to simply provide wider bays for disabled parking & grant, sometimes, 4hours for a three hour ticket (hardly all day, Badge).
http://www.bromley.gov.uk/press/article/451/convictions_continue_in_crackdown_on_blue_badge_fraud
Any all day concessions seem to be for long stay car parks which are usually not convenient for disabled use anyway.
they have to provide disabled parking or get fined for disabled discrimination act.
As for using dead persons badges, all badges are time-dated (3 years maximum) and then have to be renewed by the issuing authority, on submission of a CURRENT certificate, so that deals with that really.
not really ... as you admit they have a 3 year limit on them, so if a person who has one and died this year, then leaves the relative upto 2015 free parking .... yippee!! or sell them on as can get over a grand for one.

Posted: 7/17/2012 10:35:19 AM
DT - perhaps you would enlighten us as to the frauds involving Blue Badges?
that fraud runs into millions, think about it ... blue badge means free parking, and how much does it cost to park a car for the day? i know a few who have kept the blue badge after the person has snuffed it .... as well as using it when the person whose it for is not anywhere near the car.
the benefit system needs to be overhauled drastically ... work should always pay no matter how many hours etc. the system should not have to pay out for those able bodied who refuse to go to work or pop out kids for the fun of it. pay for the first two and thats it.

not so green travel mileage from the taxman?
Posted: 7/15/2012 6:54:48 AM
The bike that used to get over 100miles to half a gallon for me was Suzuki GS125ES don't know why people need big bikes that used to be able to reach 82mph (well over the speed limit) if it had some weight on the back of the seat. Only had a half gallon tank and used to do London to Liverpool journey (about 200 miles) just having to fill up in Birmingham and usually had enough still in tank for running around all week in Liverpool.
really? ....

I don't know why bicycles should get it but as far as motorcycles yes they do use a lot less fuel than cars, I used to ride motorbikes and up to now I have never known a car that can do 100 miles on half a gallon, that is what I used to get out of a 125cc. Ok bigger bikes may use more but you are still not paying to move all the extra weight of the cars body and lack of streamlining.
can you name the bike you were using? bigger bikes will only do between 40 to 50 mpg which now a days is what most cars will do.
It cost more to run a car than it does to run a bike. It's not rocket science.
so most people would think woz, but it aint believe me, only the other week a few of the lads were comparing bike maintenance to cars and there wasnt a lot in it. only the other day i had a rear tire replaced for 130 quid, which is nothing special and most bike tires will only last around 6,000 miles if they are lucky.

not so green travel mileage from the taxman?
Posted: 7/12/2012 11:15:50 AM
filling out a load of forms today at work, i was handed a form back from the office about my travel expenses .... i was originally told i could claim 45p per mile, now this morning i was then informed it was now only 24p per mile and why?
because i ride a motorbike .... how very dare i.
i then put the office staff through a bit of grilling to be told not our rules its the inland revenues ... i then made a hasty retreat to the pc and looked it up.
From 2011/12 First 10,000 business miles in the tax year Each business mile over 10,000 in the tax year
Cars and vans 45p 25p
Motor cycles 24p 24p
Bicycles 20p 20p
i was quite startled when reading this up, for a start why should the bloke opposite my desk with the clapped out ford get almost twice the amount? does it use twice the amount of fuel or use special fuel? ..... no
then pulling my beard in anger, why should a bloody cyclists be able to claim? they dont use fuel, pay tax or insurance!!
should it not be done more to the actual cc of the engine or emissions? rather then the system above?

Have bankers ruined the economy? are we partly to blame?
Posted: 7/3/2012 7:20:15 AM
Cameron's allies in the banks, and the media can no longer rely on him to cover it all up, and allow 'business as usual'.
It saddens me that it's become almost necessary to actually "catch them in the act", when the evidence has been there all along.
This was true of both "the banking crisis", and the "Phone Hacking Scandal".
what year did the banking crises happen? when did the phone hacking scandal come to light?
"The taxpayer" pays £20,000 per year, for Mr Cameron's mortgage on his constituency home in Witney, it also gives him free accommodation at Number 10, and "Chequers", and he has a fourth "family home" in Central London, yet he has the temerity to talk about other people abusing the system, and that they should downsize, or move.
During the expenses scandal, it was revealed that Mr Cameron also felt that the public should pay for general maintenance on his home, and his gardening, and wisteria trimming. It certainly shouldn't come out of his own alleged wealth of £30 Million.
really? i suppose mr blair never lied and never got nothing from the taxpayer or indeed mr brown ....

you would of thought someone in charge would of noted what was happening .... most likely to busy feathering their own nest or the union buddies ...

the idea of controlling ...
Posted: 6/29/2012 9:34:23 AM
i only used the car driving as a bit of an example, i should of worded it a bit better as really was on about a group of people or an event.
think more of the realms of characters of the capt mainwaring and mrs bucket, who automatically put themselves in charge without any consent whats so ever, as soon as they step forward the groups doomed from the start and better off walking away.
could even be the case of upbringing and gene debate of those who are born to lead etc or to the point those that think they are born to lead.

Does how much you spend on a date matter?
Posted: 6/29/2012 9:29:03 AM
i always thought the idea of a date was to actually see the person in question, not what people can get out of it in the way of a meal or what ever.
two meals for a tenner aint a bad idea or even just a sandwich in the park with a flask .... actually always suggest something like that and if they turn their nose up at it then just saves me hassle in the long run.

the idea of controlling ...
Posted: 6/23/2012 10:12:36 AM
it seems to me we are becoming divided as society to those who control and those that follow.
i don't see it as a money issue either, only have to look at local social groups to see those who will jump through hoops to gain control of others.
even down to a couple ... who drives the car? is that a power thing?
is there something in the human brain which says to be in control or life is a failure?

new fines for drivers coming your way
Posted: 6/14/2012 10:22:39 AM
the government are now consulting to bring in new fine levy for various offenses as well as looking for ideas for new offenses
https://consultation.dft.gov.uk/dft/2012-25/consult_view
i for one would like to see those on the phone either texting or talking be given the same category as drink driving as its been proven to be more dangerous, as well as dibble cracking down on those who stay in the middle lane of the motorway.
only last week whilst traveling from liverpool to back home at 6 am on a sunday morning i had encountered those who sat in the middle lane forcing myself to go around them, the way the law is at the moment more likely to get nicked for undertaking which surely isnt right.

Fuel prices
Posted: 6/1/2012 8:45:59 AM
i didnt know a lot about it till i brought a old kwak and had fuel starvation problems, examined inside the fuel tank and all the lining had just collapsed and basically rotted due to the ethanol ... a friend of mine paint on her custom bike started to flake around the fuel tank due to ethanol rotting the paint work.
i have asked questions to various organisations including daily mail, and the tax payers alliance but they dont seem to be interested even though its YOU the public being conned and paying out more money in the long run. the government are not interested as again make more revenue and lets be honest scared of the oil companies.
oil is now less then 100 dollars a barrel and falling rapidly ... wonder how long before we see this reach the pumps? just in time for the 3p rise in august ...
fuel should be cheaper in the future due to the advances of the motor trade in making cars do 80mpg and more, plus advances in electric engines mean less demand.

Fuel prices
Posted: 5/31/2012 4:36:08 PM
did many people know there is another bigger fuel rip off? most supermarket/garages sell unleaded fuel that is 10 percent ethanol ... which is basically water down, does not give you the required m.p.g and costs more in the long run.
for proper unleaded you have to use the super fuels what they sell in garages which are sometimes an extra 10p a litre more!!
as a member of a biking organisation you would be surprised at what the dangers off to much ethanol can do to petrol engines, rots the seals and hoses and other parts .... and to think the powers that be want to raise ethanol to 15 percent. be warned!!

EUROPEAN ECONOMIC UNITY DOES NOT WORK

lloyds of london preparing for the collapse of the euro, which a few economics are predicting will happen with in a couple of years as the german people wont want to keep paying to bail out other countries, remember your history? what happened when the last time germany was under financial pressure ....
once greece leaves the other states will look at what happens and do the same thing, spain, portugual and would not be surprised if ireland and italy look at that option as well.

Looking for a normal guy?? No Players?? Advice please.....
Posted: 5/24/2012 5:06:49 AM
What do you girls defines a normal guy? I've heard some of your stories about pictures of genitalia being sent in messages, which clearly isn't normal. I just wondered what you think is!
Secondly, what do you define as a player? If I'm talking to more than one person on here but haven't been on a date yet am I guilty of being one?
always find those that scream players etc from the profiles are indeed players themselves same goes for time wasters ....
as for sending various pictures of bits .... well i thought it was normal to do so with them all asking for genuine man, after all doesnt it prove it ..... lmao

Clairvoyants and Mediums
Posted: 5/21/2012 2:01:44 AM
i find them quite funny to be honest as its known as cold reading, just google it for how it works or indeed mention derren browns name and watch the reaction ....
interesting enough there was a bint on the tv the other day who claimed her house was haunted and yet hiring it out to these type of people and ghost hunters, no doubt for a few quid.
agree with the similarities between it and religion as its based on the same thing of power of suggestions and twisting it to suit the means, i mean get a hundred old women together and say you have a message from fred or burt, or i see a man in uniform lol would not be surprised if its mostly women falling for the scams rather then chaps.
then again was years ago since i last saw a "medium" in redditch ....
