The times are a changin. hey bob dyan wants his cut for using his line lol hey people used to record of the radio maybe they should charge a fee for blank media who knows but hey the more people that hear their music (paid for or not) the more people that will want to go to their shows --- but why should someone have to pay the fee for their backing up of computer files (someone always loses so lets let the people with the money get a say 10% tax break for lost revenue -- consider it a charitable contribution + it is not like they are not getting nothing ---- they are getting advertising

post 28 kept real I have a great idea, everybody take your gun to their local police station,and receive a cheque for $25.00 and with an additional cheque for $25.00 donated to the charity of your choice . You can choose to donate to the Red Cross,The Diabetes Foundation,Heart & stroke foundation,AID's Foundation,Sunnami victims,help the poor folks in New Orleans, hey what ever turns you on...LOVE not WAR people. Go ahead keep glorifying "Guns" and teach your children how to load and shoot. If you want to defend yourself by a German Shepherd or get a home security system,study the martial arts, carry a can of mace. I have never seen such ignorant attitudes about guns and violence in this whole godforsaken planet, than I have from the American people. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Yes I am proud to be Canadian,at least I am more likely to die from natural causes rather than killed by a stray or targeted bullet....Eliminate GUNS!! you will be a lot happier ppl. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this idea worked very well for hitler these anti gun activists should read the history books

post 20 The NRA has a safety program for kids that teaches them if they find a gun not to touch it and also find an adult to tell about it. This, to me, sounds like a much better idea than teaching kids nothing and hoping that if they find a gun they don't shoot themselves with it. Also firearms are successfully used over a million times each year in self-defense. Perhaps that's sad, but having a million more victims of crimes each year would be sadder. The police can't be everywhere all the time so the first line of defense is always going to be the individual, not the state. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- there ya go just get the nra to come in and teach the course --- besides they already know how they could hire them on a per class basis-----not sure how long it (the class) is but i would guess they could do two classrooms a day it is not like it has to be an everyday thing then after the first year the refresher could be multible classes (maybe 4 classrooms done at once in the cafitera) but the first one needs standerd size class to teach just a thought

i like the idea except it should start way b4 high school not as elaborate but should begin teaching the basic gun safty stuff as soon as possible elementary school at the latest then mayb a littlehands on in jr high and high school could have competitive marksmanship
