I have a 12 year old springer spaniel crossed with a collie but you try telling the lunatic he can't move like he used to. lol

I also have shares in 2 Golden labradors. Meaning they live in my house or I live in theirs? Im not sure which.

Personal Happiness.
Posted: 10/1/2009 5:37:04 AM
I know this may seem like a very cynical point of view but can someone honestly with their hand on their heart and conscience riding high on their shoulders actually admit to being truly happy or content?

Or is the phrase " true happiness " created by human beings to give their lives meaning, direction and focus but regardless of how hard we try, and how much we reach it still seems like an unobtainable dream?

I ask this question purely out of curiousity due to the amount of people I know and see who have fallen into the *comfort zone*.

and we are bonded more strongly by life's earthly woes
yet judged by our species for the path that we chose
thousands of eyes prying into our souls
analysing aspirations, dreams and our goals
until it is time that the story is told
when loved ones beckon us back into spiritual folds

Bald v shaven heads - and is bald beautiful?
Posted: 5/20/2009 10:23:19 AM

My self ever since i shaved my hair, old ladies cross the road when they see me..
Same person new hairstyle....

This is a true example of what societies have evolved into. I too have experienced this on numerous occasions and the thing that makes me *sigh* on the inside is when they are arm and arm with their husband who years before was made to wear the same haircut I choose to. *shakes head*

Just goes to show if you are not a hypocrite you are not human.

Boxing anyone

When I watched the fight I KNEW either Cotto was injured / unwell or Margarito was using some unfair advantage. The feel of the fight was just wrong. Miguel cotto has been my favourite boxer for quite some time now. The fight between himself and sugar Shane mosely back in 2007 was a poetry in motion performance.

Count me in too.
p.s Dean koontz is a proper sick puppy. What an absolutely phenomenal master of macabre he can be at times. His book - The bad place - would make the sanest of people believe the author should be sectioned.

I was racked with guilt over the passing of my nan and grandad due to allowing family moralistic bs to stand in the way of our relationship. I swear on everything that has ever meant anything to me I was visited by them both after they had died. I feel very humbled and fortunate being able to experience this enigmatic encounter and therefore believe the incident you experienced DeeLightfullyGinormous should be simply cherished as one of life's beautiful, unexplained mysteries.

I once knew a girl called Evita
who spent her life as a political speaker
with her charitable ways
and a nation amazed
they all sang dont cry for me Argentina.

A man said his fruit was the best
head and shoulders above all the rest
Del monte his name
and his girlfriend exclaimed
his plums always made her say YES!

@ rum ' coke.

IF it was not for my mother I would have been dead a very long time ago. Other than this its the small gestures that matter the most to me. A young lad said to me the other day " I could be having the worst day of my entire life. But, when I talk to you everything makes sense and is right with the world again".

I was genuinely touched by his words.

The Gathering is run by the Lorien trust and is based purely on a fantasy role playing basis ( i:e Warhammer ).

I have been attending off and on for roughly about 18 years.

Who would of thought hitting people with latex weaponry could be so much fun !

Crucified, loved the Tad Williams books, like you said, can't put them down. Have u read any of Terry Goodkind? Raymond E Feist is another goodie.

Cant say that I have. But I will certainly keep my trained eye out for both authors next time I am in Waterstones, cheers.

Now all I need to read up on is how to quote people without enrolling myself at Hogwarts!

Although the writing is not exceptional I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of Nobody true by James Herbert.

For all you Tolkien fans I highly recommend The memory, sorrow and thorn series written by Tad williams. It is an absolute pleasure to immerse yourself in for days.

The lion of Macedon was interesting once you wade through the complexities of the book.

Im about to start reading City of fear by Alafair burke - to be continued ....

Festivals...

Highly recommends festival life to those who dont suffer from a nervous disposition or dormant agoraphobia. It is truly amazing the wide spectrum and range of different people you meet who attend these events.

I still have very fond memories of Glastonbury 98 ( A festival I believe everyone should experience once in their lifetime if able). Seeing The Wonderstuff's "supposed" last ever gig at the Phoenix festival 94 was also a special time I hold dear in my heart.

Due to varying factors the only festival I will be making a concerted effort to make it to this year will be The Gathering held in Locko park in Derbyshire. A reenactment event which is held over the August bank holiday weekend.

Open to all ages. Fun for all the family. Come and join us !

Spelling, or lack thereof these days
Posted: 5/19/2009 5:06:45 AM
I think when people misspell words purposely incorrectly such as "was - woz " and "you - u " it is sadly a true reflection of British social regression.

On the other hand, I also believe mobile texting and internet messaging are destroying the art of conversation - unite hypocrites one and all.

Muhammad Ali v Bruce Lee
Posted: 5/19/2009 4:48:25 AM
Both are / were elusive, fast and powerful it would all depend on what style of fight it was. Both were a thinking man's fighter and at times philosophical and poetic. But I will say IF only fists were allowed Ali would leave Lee eating through a straw.

David price was knocked down by Tyson fury, got up and beat him.

It will be interesting to see IF they have a rematch whether Fury can even the score.

Being human.
Posted: 5/15/2009 6:51:36 PM
For Just one.
For just one minute I wish this autistic sickness would relinquish it's hold on my spirit. But until it is finished Im forced to witness it's inflicted, vindictive, sadistic tricks as if my brain acts like an addict's without his daily fix - born out of a tryst with the Devil and a kiss from his lips, lit and branded with this parole number 666, convicted of this crime I did not commit, stripped of my dignity and raped of my wits, this is my reality it's not the fantasy that's slipped.

I sit here inside my prison listening and thinking so hard I could have an annuerism that all God's citizens recognition had arisen enough to remove their distorted vision. But it seems all that wishing is forbidden as they make decisions christened out of benightedness, God must despise us, for such blindness and un-warranted violence, as he suffers in silence, we are no longer his children merely tyrants. Our acts of defiance in the face of compliance must test his patience, as we break each and every rule he ever generated, and to his amazement, he watches human assailants, dismantle built Nations and destroy Mother Earth his greatest creation.

For just one hour I wish we had the power to stand tall like memories of the Twin Towers against cowards who scour our rights to live as if we're Jews in German showers. It's astounding how we allow the, **stards to make us cower and over-power us with unyielding dour devouring Countries resources converting sacred ground to powder. How are children going to learn to be prouder against masked bounders if we dont unite our voice and make it louder?

Through life I flounder, and with angry eyes I glower at how the blind are followed. Hoping that around the, next corner is something to make this pill less sour to swallow. As human beings wallow in self-pity where empty thoughts are hollowed. No change just pain for fellow man without a form of love or sorrow. In the end, our yesterdays are just today's tomorrow.

For just one day I pray.

Huntin' for a wild man and his name isn't Dunger
crossing tundra with my heart torn asunder
I wander aimlessly around with dried tears on my face
disgraced by the images and complete lack of faith
whilst the hate eats me up and burns me inside
deprived for years from the truth due to sickness and lies
whilst my pride laid dormant, with water stained eyes
turning back tides with an impenetrable disguise

For the past 2 seasons Barcelona have been a squad of individuals. This season they are a squad of individuals who can actually function as a team. Still not enough to stop Manchester united though as much as it pains me to say that.

James Degale looked clinical tonight. Chad dawson has skills. Froch aint as good as he thinks he is.

Is tired of boxers picking and choosing their own fights. There should be better match making as pertains to placement in the rankings, world or otherwise.

Romario deserves an honourable mention but in "my life time" for me its Eric cantona. This coming from a hardcore Liverpool fan. The man was a genius.
