You want to read" April fools" by Bryce Courtenay. That is a great non fiction book about HIV. Very sad yet amazing story'

To all the global warming haters out there, I acknowledge your right to have an opinion. Please explain to me though what water are we going to drink when all the water on the planet is polluted.

Australians should work harder
Posted: 10/3/2012 7:00:55 AM
I work in the mining industry. I believe there are a lot of unskilled and skilled well paid jobs going to foreign workers which could very easily be filled by aussie workers. I have anecdotal evidence of this. Times when 457 workers have been on jobs and mates with experience been unable to gain employment. This doesn't just affect the worker but also the Australian economy in general. An Aussie worker is going to spend the vast majority of his money within our shores ie Housing, raising family etc. From speaking to quite a few 457 including kiwis, which make up a large number in the mining industry, the vast majority spend very little in Australia and send a large proportion home. Even in a lot of cases with people living here long term many are planning on returning to there homeland upon retirement. Therefore I believe the government should be making these( in lot of cases) multinational companies more accountable to who they allow 457 visas particularly as a lot of the projects have been canned or scaled back in recent times and it is becoming more difficult to find employment within the industry

Whats the Best Travel Advise You Could Give or Heard?
Posted: 7/20/2012 11:30:02 AM
Dont have too strict an itinerary. It's better to visit a few amasing places than a million average places. So therefore if you come across a place you really enjoy stay a little longer and get to know the place and it's people.
