Actually, I think your profile is a very succinct and definitely thought out endeavor. Your profile is the profile of a young guy. It is very centered on you but I don't think you have gone overboard at all. If I were to interject anything I would say you sound somewhat unbending. It sounds like "specific previous experience required" in an employment ad. Best of luck to you!

I have been offline for a while now and realized that my last profile was pretty obscure. I have since tried a little sandblasting and hopefully restructured it as more readable and understandable. I am asking for any help for my profile. I do not have access to a digital camera so therefore I cannot post a picture at this time. I have received responses if I initiate the contact but generally get no initial contacts. To be completely honest I have been recovering from the death of my mother in March who I took care of for over a year, but I have tried to write my profile not sounding negative or psychotic. I have had quite an extensive work history in various fields which should afford me a wide variety of conversational pieces...which I mention. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is a new venture for me. Thank you any and all who might be willing to lend a helping hand.

In my experience the proof is in the mind and heart. Someone who can make me smile or laugh is much sexier than the most "buff" body. I have been involved with body builders to a person with a very small member but the biggest heart you'd ever want to encounter. Give me someone who thinks and especially someone who laughs during an intimate encounter. Yes I do read the profiles that have no picture attached.

I completely agree with you. I am a woman and 56 and don't think twice about opening or holding a door for a man, woman or child...Probably has to do with upbringing. It is sometimes a surprise how unconsciously rude people can be but doesn't change the way I roll.

I am going to show my lack of experience here. Unfortunately I can't remember his name but there is a comedian that is a ventriloquist and works with such puppets as "Walter", a grumpy old man, jalepeno on a stick, the little alien guy, there's a superhero and my favorite the dead terrorist. I really enjoy his humor and he uses very little foul language.

I completely understand. I moved to IL to care for an elderly aunt that passed away a couple of years ago and am now caring for 91 year old mother. We are going to start getting our mail either in the hospital or nursing home pretty soon if her history holds true. Also, I have been out of work, caring for her, for over a year now. Even if you put yourself out there to talk or email the question eventually turns to sex. But I agree, get the info out there early so you can weed through the "BS".
