You eat with that mouth?

I usually don't swear, especially in front of other people. Okay, sometimes I say "crap" and "ass" but nothing worse.
The only exception might be when I am driving alone.

Rude responses
Posted:
9/5/2006 6:32:12 PM
The OP said:
What I don’t get is, why the rude response from this guy?
Sometimes, people just feel a little bolder communicating on the 'net. And if they can't win you over, they might as well belittle you, right! ;-)
I've had rude responses, too, when I've said, "thanks for the message, but I'm not interested" or when I've politely declined a date. All you can do is not dwell on the name calling and the swearing! But keep up with polite replies...

Do you consume a lot of sodium in your diet?? If so, you could try cutting down on the sodium and upping the water intake :) Good luck!

Lies
Posted:
9/4/2006 12:56:02 PM
Ladies lets say you met someone and you really liked him, but you find out he wasn't honest about something. Would you keep seeing someone who you know has lied about himself or would you wonder what else he is lying about? The lie itself is minor but a lie none the less.
Hell no, I wouldn't keep seeing him. I'd call him on it, and then dump his ass!
Honesty is extremely important to me. I'd rather get mad about what someone told me than be lied to. I can get over anger, but trust can't be regained.

Brazillian wax?
Posted:

There are certain times of the month when it's the worst time to get waxed (like right before Aunt Flo comes).
I had a great wax one time when I had this horrible cold and was drugged up.

Why is a man's career important to women?
Posted:
9/4/2006 12:23:41 PM
I like when a man has a career because it tells me he has some ambition and can support himself.
Being with a lazy ass doesn't appeal to me. For me, it's more of a compatibility thing. I want to be moving forward in life and not be stagnant.

I've never paid that much attention to guy's pit hair, but I have a friend who keeps his pit hair trimmed. And my friend recently trimmed her boyfriend's pit hair.
I guess pit hair is the new pubes.

I'm trying to take a break from dating, but not because of my looks.
I don't think there is such a thing as not being in shape enough to meet someone. The packaging is well, just packaging ;-)

Relations good until their parents forced them to dump me since my religion and color was different
Posted:
2/10/2006 2:20:23 PM
Sucks when the parents try to get involved. The dumper ends up having to choose between his/her family or the significant other, which is just as sucky.
My parents would be thrilled if I ended up with a Chinese guy. My mom has said to me numerous times that I should settle down with a nice Chinese boy. She never has a retort when I say, "mom, how many times have I brought home a Chinese guy?" I understand where they're coming from, though. Despite what my parents want, they still want me to be happy.

I've been consuming Omega 3 - 6 - 9 oil (1 tbsp a day) for about 6 months, and I've noticed an improvement in my skin. It's softer! I'm not sure if it's done anything for my hair though.

Growing up: Did you ever have a crush on a teacher?
Posted:
2/8/2006 4:52:04 PM
Most of my teachers were women when I was growing up, and I didn't get crushes on them.
There was only one sociology professor I had that I had a huuuuge crush on. He was hot and very well-spoken. Delicious!
I had a substitute saxophone teacher that asked me out. He suggested I go to his place and listen to music.

Tattoos are okay. I think i was more into them when I was younger. I have a decent-sized Chinese dragon on my lower back. Most guys I've dated have looked more conservative in terms of tattoos.

Caught red-handed
Posted:
2/7/2006 6:11:06 PM
Yes, good for him if he is happy with who he's with. But there is a place for class any time. The least he could have done was at least call to cancel our date for the day after we saw each other at the supermarket. :-p
FYI, I thought he was not a multi-dater because that is what he told me. If people have qualms about me "multi dating," that is fine. It's not like I keep meeting new people and date around if there is a guy I am into. I definitely don't assume people are dating only me if we're meeting off an Internet dating Web site.
Thank you for reading and your input, kevpak.
I don't have anything left to say about this story. It happened. It's over and done with. I will never know his side of the story, and enough of my side!

Please Tell Me HOW to Cook Rice!
Posted:
2/6/2006 4:48:41 PM
I cook it the Chinese way.
1. Measure rice with the measuring cup that came with my rice cooker.
2. In a bowl, wash the rice 3 times with warm water, and rinse twice with cold water.
3. Put the washed rice in the cooker.
4. Add water. The amount is whatever the cooker tells me.
5. Turn on the rice cooker.
