Question about past partners
Posted:
7/31/2009 5:49:17 PM
Yes, I still keep contact with several of my exes. One has been one of my best friends for the past 13 years. I take vacations with another ex. I've never re-started anything romantically with any of my exes, once we've broken up, that's it... it's purely platonic from there. All of my relationships ended amicably, so why not?
I don't bother ask if anyone I start seeing is still friends with an ex... *shrug*... I know they've had a life before me and will maintain aspects of that life while we're together. I doubt I'd give a damn.

This is the type of thing women like to hear during sex. So my question is "why do women like to hear demeaning things about them during sex." I just do not get it. Women like to be called b*tches', whores and other disrespectful names that they otherwise would not except from a man. So why ladies. Why do you like to be cursed out while have sex with a man?
Are you serious?
I'm thinking that perhaps you should minimalize the generalization and say "some women"......
but really, are you serious? Come on, you can tell me ;-)

why do men always have to look at other women!!
Posted:

*shrug* I frankly don't mind men looking at other women...
if she's nice looking, she's nice looking...
I look at other men... it may be the clothes he has on, it may be bright noticeable eyes, it may be a cool hair-cut, it could be deep dimples, it could be anything... other people are sometimes visual stimuli....

I don't know if I'd do it for someone else...
but I certainly would move to another country simply because I love travel. I'm thinking about moving out of country for a few years anyways.....
but move for someone else, eh... not sure. Probably not, but who knows....
or shall I say depends on what country they're in..lol

Would you watch?

Sure, I'd pop some popcorn and watch...lol
I'm thinking privacy is the last thing on their mind if they've started right there and didn't make some lame excuse to go into another area..
I personally am not into doing it myself, but yup..I've been there before when a couple of friends decided to go right at it next to me on the sofa. Hell, a good movie was on, I wasn't going to leave on their account damn it!

How long should sex last?
Posted:
3/29/2009 12:06:47 PM
Depends on how long the movie or tv show I'm trying to watch at the same time lasts!
OK if you can't walk afterwards, it was probably too long
If you're weak in the knees, then it was long enough... and good
If you can pop right up with no woosiness, then you make want to pop over to someone's else house who can make you weak in the knees

How many women fantasize watching their man with another man?
Posted:
3/29/2009 12:00:33 PM
I have seen 2 men together in porn, and found it hot....but no I don't think of a man I am interested in seeing him touch someone else....I have the MMF fantacy but only if they are both concentrated on me...and I would never actually do that ....but its fun to think about.
And I would never be with another woman because someone wanted me to...I think women are beautiful but not into them sexually and I won't comprimise my values for someone's fantacy and I don't think a man should either.
Agreed with what bbwhmk wrote..... 100%

Most Wild Place You Had sex!
Posted:

All of the above
JUST KIDDING!
OK... hmmm..
In the middle of a busy college stairwell.. speaking of college I was seeing someone who worked at the college and he had keys to some of the major buildings, so we christened a few places...the dental school building, a few beds in the occupational therapy classroom, his office desk during school hours, the dean's desk after hours...
Moving forward.......
in the middle of a crowded parking lot at 4 in the evening with 2 police cars (with officers inside) one row in front of us and a guy sitting beside us in his 18 wheeler watching us, in the hallway of of luxury apartment building while the outside exit doors were open and people were walking about the parking garage, same apartment's balcony during prime time,
on the livingroom sofa of my (then) boyfriend's parents house while they were in the next room watching a movie (they came out AS SOON as we were done and sat beside us and chatted about their movie..lol), my office desk .... ok damn I should stop here before people beleive that I never make it to the bedroom!

Men who work too long/are too busy
Posted:

*shrug*
I don't mind a man's extremely busy schedule in the least bit...
especially if he's working toward a goal that will both be fruitful and rewarding once accomplished. Hell, I don't mind an out and out work-a-holic as I know what work dedication can mean for some.
Maybe I'm crazy, but a man's busy work schedule... it just doesn't phase me in the least.

what is everyones opin on tattoos?
Posted:

Hmm... honestly
Hate tats...
on anyone
but I certainly also hate when others lecture those who have tats about having them...
But personally, no.. I myself do not like tats..
If I happen to date anyone who has a tat, it's amazingly distracting... almost overwhelmingly so, but I'd never ask them to rid of it.

Going on a vacation by yourself? Good or Bad idea?
Posted:
2/24/2009 6:13:08 PM
Oh yes, I've been traveled abroad on my own and had a lovely time. I actually just adjusted to the local customs and lived as a local instead of as a tourist.
Of course I would have loved a companion to have come along with, but I could never find anyone who was free, or who even liked to travel (now it's a must that anyone I date like travel)....
but I see no qualms about just enjoying a nice, relaxing vacation alone.
As much as I travel, and as much as I love boats, I've yet to go on a cruise. I think I'll make that my next travel goal.......whether I do it alone, or with a travel companion.

WHY ARE WOMEN OVER 30 A FAILURE WHEN THEY ARE SINGLE AND CHILDLESS?
Posted:
2/24/2009 5:29:13 PM
*shrug*
I actually have people telling me how they wish they could be single and without children when they find out how often I get to travel from state to state for my job... and from country to country for leisure.
Nowadays I hear more and more people whining about their spouse and kids and wishing they could be over 30 without the spouse and kids...
Ah.........yes..... they see freedom, not failure.
But of course there are those who fanatically have their views of how and when a woman should have family.........they remind me of people in those compounds..lol

I write people to ask for money!
Kidding, kidding!!!!
I'm a conversationalist and an avid reader, thus I do read profiles. If something made me laugh, or I share a common interest, yes I write people - male or female- to point out something that I found interesting in their profile.

I have a question regarding Airline Pilots and dating
Posted:
2/23/2009 7:36:06 PM
I've dated a pilot, a doctor, a meteorologist, and one rich kid whose parents made all of the money..lol
Everyone I've dated has been humble, sweet, down to earth, funny, intelligent, etc.. I could go on.
As for pilot's schedules, I can empathize as I myself am often away from home for months at a time. It's hard for those in my life to accept that I'm home basically only 10 weeks out of the year. If anything, I'd undertsand if someone did not want to date a pilot for that reason, but bypassing them based on assumption of ego is something I can't wrap my head around.
Truth be told......... people of ANY profession can manifest obtuse, arrogant, and god-complex behaviour. Hell, I've seen people who work at MacDonalds think they are master chefs at a world class restaurant and behave as if they are king of the universe.
Why specifically point out a pilot? It's not the profession itself, it's the person who has chosen to have their occupation swell their heads.

Could you be in a relationship with a long haul truck driver?
Posted:
2/22/2009 2:09:49 PM
My dad's a long-haul driver. Loves his job.. no one minds that he's gone for long.
He actually feels that I'm a lot like him in the sense that I travel often and for long periods of time with my job, and I'm in real-estate marketing.
Yes, some people wouldn't be able to tolerate it (I'd think it was a godsend because I like to be left alone at times and I don't always like someone RIGHT there... so either time consuming jobs, or plain ole workaholics are never an obstacle with me)...
I can truly understand your situation and why you'd ask your question. My job requires me to travel away from home and stay away for a full 45 days (month and a half).... come home for 2 weeks, then leave again for 45 days.... it's a cycle. It also gives people in my life a headache.

30 and never married?
Posted:
2/22/2009 1:51:24 PM
You should see the smile on my face when I say ...... never married, never enagaged, and no kids (never want any)... ergo no divorce, and no custody drama.
Though my mother and father were never married, my mother and my step-father were married for over 20 years until his death 10 years ago. My father and his wife have been married over 30 years .......... yet.....
neither my sister (who is in mid 30s) nor I have married (though she does have 2 kids, and I'm ALWAYS happy to say that I have NONE)
and my father's step-daughter is in her 40s - never married (though has kids)
and his step-son is in his 40s, never married (has kids)
I think it stupifies some who know me. The parents have had very long marriages, yet none of the offspring has chosen to marry.
I've said enough.....

so, why are you still single?
Posted:
2/22/2009 1:36:47 PM
Yes, I get asked "why are you not married" (at my age), to which my reply is "there wasn't anyone I wanted to be married TO"...
I'd have to concur..
Quite frankly, I'm not married at my age because I've said "no" the the people who've asked. I honestly did not feel that they were people I wanted to be married to....
but my main reason for having remained unmarried is.....
I can't possibly promise someone that I'll spend the rest of my life with them when I've barely spent a fraction of my life with myself.
We spend our childhood and young adulthood under the watchful eye of our parents, we can't wait to break fee.... when we're finally free, we're supposed to promise someone else (whom we've not known extensively) the rest of our lives? No, not yet.... not for me.
When the time is right, and there is someone I want to continue my life's journey with, THEN I will promise to spend my journey with them.
As for now, I'm too free and I love it TOO much!
While I do enjoy LTRs, I'm in no rush to permenantly solidify myself with anyone AND his family. My family is enough to bare...lol
I've said enough.....

ladies, how much older would you date?
Posted:
2/21/2009 3:19:00 PM
I hate to say it, but when I was younger I dated much older because men my age were sort of immature and I couldn't talk to them, I would only date younger by a couple of yeras. The older I get, the less I want to date older (if I decide to date at all). I am now within no more than 5 years older, and I'd go up to 10 years younger.
What she said... almost word for word.
