Why Do Women Need a Dating Site?
Posted: 12/18/2009 6:30:21 PM
well i made a profile to get an idea of 'what was out there' shortly after my divorce. i didn't interact with many people and i wanted an easy way to meet new people.

well lets be honest: appearances are important to both sexes, aren't they? and i hate to say it, but i think some women see a guy in construction attire and assume he's that stereotypical construction worker, sitting around telling dirty jokes and doesn't know how to be romantic, etc. not saying i think that way, just saying there's women out there that do.

How do you get over someone?
Posted: 10/27/2009 7:34:47 PM
well pookieman, sounds like we're kind of in the same boat. when i found out about my husbands girlfriend, he simply said after six years of marriage he just wasn't in love with me anymore. and then he left and never came back. i've found great people to date on this site and in person, but it just never feels the same and i always break it off because i can't seem to stop thinking of my exhusband. i think you've gotten alot of good advice here. but if you're like me, it just isn't working this time. here's wishing time will mended both our hearts
and if you find the secret to letting that person go, be sure to send the advice my way! lol

Who won't sleep with anyone untill they go get tested?
Posted: 3/30/2009 12:58:23 PM
this has actually become a new firm personal policy of mine. because quite frankly you never know. someone might think "there's no way i could have anything, i have only been with this one other person and that person had only been with me", but that 'one person' may have lied to them or cheated without anyone ever finding out.
as a matter of fact, if someone wants to have unprotected sex with me without any questions asked, i question their intelligence a bit ( to be brutally honest)

How many women fantasize watching their man with another man?
Posted: 3/30/2009 12:48:06 PM
i have had that fantasy, and shared it with my last boyfriend. he would have done it with a gay friend of his, but he worried i wouldn't like it as much as i thought i would. there are 2 good reasons he felt that way:
1) we once went to a titty bar, and after he received a lap dance i struggled with feelings with jealousy and insecurity. and the whole titty bar and lap dance thing was my idea! (i know, right??)
2) i often shared my fantasy about being with another girl. so he and his roommate encouraged me and his roommate's girlfriend to make out while she and i were quite drunk. me and her wound up having sex on my boyfriends bed while the boys watched an even recorded (without our knowledge). immediately afterwords both of our boyfriends acted hostile and bitter, later admitting they were jealous and felt cheated on.
-moral of the story i guess is beware when 'experimenting'. something might be enjoyable at the time, but remember that you're gambling with feelings. you never know for sure how you or your partner will feel after the fact.
