Posted: 5/27/2009 9:52:43 AM Your guess is as good as mine, butI don't dwell on it. What really attracts me to a woman is her intelligence, not her looks! Looks do help, but they are not everything. Anyway, what is a woman looking for? Good question. I think there are a lot of right answers here. A man that can be her best friend. Afterall, is that not why 50% of marriages end in divorce? They married for the wrong reasons, no question in my mind. Some will say that today is different, but I don't think it is. My great grandfather met my great grandmother when they were just 4 years of age! They were married for over 60 years! They were the best of friends first. It isn't rocket science guys-really, it isn't. As for the women, I'm speaking for myself, but men, at least the more mature ones, are not looking for just sex. They are looking for the kind of connection that they don't feel with anyone else. That is usually on an emotional level. If a man is comfortable being himself around you, then he is looking for the same from you. This means you need to open up to him. Share your dreams-tell him what made you happy that day. Tell him what made you sad. Posted: 5/27/2009 9:26:47 AM I haven't read this whole thread, nor do I dare-I have better things to do with my time. But, from what I gather, you seem to think your god's gift to women, dude! Women do not, I REPEAT, do not like that in a guy! Why do you think the really good looking women go for guys that look more like me? It isn't for looks-it's because guys like me treat them better than the pretty-boys. Get a hold of yourself, man! I have a roommate that thinks just like you, but he said to me one day, women will talk to you moreso than me. Why? I don't have this almighty attitude. I'm more discreet; I don't oogle them as they approach me, and guess what? It works for me, 90% of the time. So much for good looks, eh?
