Did anyone else catch Ty Domi figure skating with a young lady tonight. I didn't see the whole show but Claude Lemieux ( + 2 others NHL er ) also traded in their hockey sticks for toe picks... Good on them !! That doesn't take guts...that takes B_lls. And then to stand there and take it while a panel of judges scored how well they did....priceless!!

I was just in Kelowna last weekend and would really reccomend the Gator Blues Bar. Great wings , a great live band, and a relaxed atmosphere becasue everyone was over 30.

I have to diagree with the other posters. People stick with what they know. Lots of people never travel past the city or state borders. If all she has known is abuse than she will stay in an abusive enviroment. Go to her house, pack up some of her clothes and crap in her bathroom and fireman carry her out of that enviroment. She won't leave on her own becasue she is truely physically and mentally unable to leave. Let the boyfriend go beserk and run around town looking for her because without her to pound on he can't feel like a man. Once he steps foot on your property ( or wherever you are hiding her ) yelling insults and threats than you call the cops. Everything she knows and experienced about how a man should treat a lady is wrong. Really wrong. She'll need alot of councilling to reprogram her belief system. She is incredibly lucky to have you as her friend!!

I admit I have said that. What I meant was that you are a great guy. You are perfect ...for someone else. Maybe you want to settle down and have kids and I don't. Maybe I want to travel for a year and you are chained to a desk job. There iIS a reason I feel it won't work with you so I am not going to waste your time.

I hate to ask this but I really don't know and I couldn't find the answer at CFL.ca What does a player have to do or say to get ejected from a game? I popped into a pub to pick up some take out food and the TV was on TSN A player ( # 98 ) was being escorted from the field in todays Winnipeg vs BC game. I have never seen that before. The pub was playing music so I didn't catch what the ref said .

Thanks Up here our American neighbours are West of us not south. Since most of us who live North of 60 don't have family up here we have " orphan " Thanksgiving/ Christmas Just like at a family dinner someone shows up late, someone gets too drunk, someone goes into turkey coma.... somehow all the dishes get done !!

A friend of mine just got her book published. it is about how she got scammed by and on - line love to the tune of $ 20,000 Why did she write the book? To try to recoup her losses? No way!! She wrote it to bring awareness about a problem /crime that is happening to smart but lonely women.

Hey How is everyone in my favourite province? The Yukon hosted the Canada Winter Games in 2007. Just four days after the end of the games the price of a parking ticket went up from $ 10.00 to $ 25.00 Two months later every home owner was informed that the city property taxes and utilities were being increased too. Just hoping you guys don't have the same thing happen to you.

Hey ... At least get the name right...It is affectionately called Onteribble up here in the Yukon. FYI I went to Walkerton high school ( Bad drinking water ) and have friends and family in the Durham area ( tornato a few weeks ago ) In a place that big you have to expect extremes !! It can be that be in people, the economy or climate. Ontario has it all..... The good bad and the ugly. But hind sight is 20 - 20 !! One of the funest nights I have ever had was at a roadhouse west of Thunder Bay called Sunshine! I love that I am a farmers daughter and the ppl who know me to the core still live there. I can't believe that it has already been almost been 2 months since I was home for a family reunion!! Thanks for this thread!!

Hey For what it is worth my best friend is a guy. If anything sexual was going to happen between us it would have years ago. Give your sweetie the benefit of the doubt. Wow... I am probably going to get racked over the coals for this but...I don't have a problem with someone I have been seeing fishing. We all need human interaction. The means we use shouldn't matter. Today I interacted with my mechanic, 2 bank tellers, and had lunch with a friend....all men. While buying groceries , office supplies and beer I chatted with the cashier . Then I BSed with some people at my favourite pub and came home. Each one of these people were male. Now I am here chatting and interacting on POF Do I expect eveyone to understand why I am very comfortable walking into bars alone? No. Do my close friends think it odd that the last 5 men I have dated I have met online? Probably. Would they ask me to quit? No why would they. I am not hurting anyone. If his online activity is hurting your relationship than you need to discuss this. If he decides to stop doing something he enjoys ...that is his decision. If you are not comfortable chatting on line when you are in a relationship that's your decision. I don't think as consenting adults we have the right to limit how someone else interacts with people.
