If your first date went so well and you think there may be chemistry, don’t sweet the small stuff, just enjoy each others company.

Perhaps he realized the distance was an issue and decided a long distance relationship wasn’t what he wanted. An hour and a half certainly is pushing it.

I want to buy an IPod
Posted: 8/13/2007 4:14:21 PM
I recently bought an I pod nano 4 gb which I am rather happy with. It holds around 900 songs and runs for about 8 hours on a charge if you don’t fiddle with it to much. The sound quality is very good and its small. The accessories are a tad pricey though. Since it doesn’t have a belt clip, a carrying case (approximately $40 can) is required unless you want to put it in your pocket.

I also found the I tunes a little tricky when installing and keeping your favorite music on it. Once you get used to the software, its Ok but if its not set up properly it will change your I pod music files when you plug it into your computer for recharging.

I think I pod does have a wide assortment of accessories, some are handy depending on what all you want to use it for. However it never hurts to do product comparisons as I pod and its accessories certainly can add up dollar wise.

Image Problems

Hi Little Lady:

Thanks for the reply:
I was able to find a little bit of information regarding the lack of the upload button on page 21, which referred me to a link on another forum. Simply stated as follows :

“Be IN your picture
Repeated abuse of the pic privilege = revoked
This isn't permanent however - how long the upload button is disabled is not public knowledge = don't ask - no answer forthcoming from admin”.

Although I support the administrators decision regarding proper pictures, I had 5 pictures in total, 3 were of me and 2 were of scenery. No nudity, no repeat offences. The 2 of scenery were deleted by administration and now I guess I have to wait patently to upload new pictures of myself. For how long is obviously unknown, a rather harsh punishment, in my opinion.

If pics were removed from your profile by the automatic system or manually by the administrator, your profile may have lost its picture-uploading privilege

If this statement is correct, how does one regain uploading privilages?

It's my first time...and I'm nervous!

Although I think you will find the experience of flying rather enjoyable, be aware of the security measures in place. Here is a handy web sight which will give you the run down on articles you can and can’t bring along. http://www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca/english/index.shtml

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and if your flight is in the evening, might I suggest a window seat. Looking out and seeing the multi colored glow from all the Christmas lights as you pass over the towns / cities far below certainly is a warm sight in the holiday season.

Is she being disrespectful, or am I being unfair?

Communication is certainly key in any relationship. When chatting it is always best to view it as one on one and enjoy the conversation just like one would face to face. When I chat with some one, if I have to leave for a bit, I always follow a brief explanation behind my brb, (example 5 min drink) and return within that time frame. It only takes a second and in doing so, tells the other person when to expect me back. On the other hand, if some one types brb to me, I will ask when I can expect them to return.

I don’t think you are being unreasonable, your actually being far to patent. If she can’t give you an estimated time for her return, I would simply wait for 5 minutes or so, ask if she is back and if there’s no reply, I’d go about other things.

Perhaps it would be better if you’s E mailed back and forth for a while rather than relying on chatting. You could try to set up a chat date, a time when both could chat with fewer distractions or you’s could forget about chatting all together for awhile and just communicate by E mail. Sooner or later, she may miss chatting with you and respond differently while doing so.

Good Luck

C.C.
