Why do Cheaters run and hide when caught?
Posted: 3/3/2009 2:39:27 PM | Having just cheated myself with a married man - this is a hard question....I'm certainly not wanting to be the pot calling the kettle black. But when 2 married people are both not having a good marital relationship - and heaven forbid others find out....that leaves an open door. We were both vunerable and leaned on each other for comfort and support - at first - then it became something more. His wife found out and he dumped me like a cancer...when HE was the one that promised he wanted to get married and take care of me and my kids. I'm not sure why he ran from it all....maybe he was being threatened...Maybe cheaters realize what they have to loose. I certainly do. Having said that - we all go through this life in short phases....good and/or bad. Happy and/or sad. These phases suck and it hurts everyone involved.
He "faced the music" with his wife; I'm sure....but that won't make it all better. Sometimes "facing the music" takes more courage than people can handle. Sometimes it is just a very long process.
We're all just trying to get through our lives.....I really don't think "Cheaters" are all the same. Sometimes things just happen. | | | |
