Healthiest Oil to use for Cooking?

Fry Light one calorie spray oil, as the name suggests, one spray from the bottle is one calorie.
I would normally use this on most things I cook, I never deep fry anything, i may use olive oil for certain cooking, but never use Lard, or sunflower oil.

Absolutely. I don't care who they are, it is still a turn-off if I click on some guy's profile and see it plastered with images of him and a bunch of women. In fact, I don't much appreciate many pictures of him and his guy friends, either. Personally, I think your pics should be photos of you

Shepards Pie / Cottage Pie

Ingredients
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 tnsp olive oil
450g/1lb minced lamb or beef
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
225ml/7 ½ fl oz , beef or lamb stock
2 medium carrots
200g mushrooms
salt and freshly ground black pepper

For the mash:
700g/1½lb potatoes
55ml/2fl oz milk
75g/3oz butter


1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
2. In a large sausepan, heat the oil, add the onion and cook for five minutes.
3. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, heat a little olive oil and fry the mince, stirring, until browned all over. While the meat is frying, break up any lumps with the back of the spoon.
4. To the sausepan with the onions add the chopped carrots, chopped mushrooms, cooking for a further 5 mins
6. Add the cooked mince to the sausepan, aqnd then add the stock.
7. Bring the mixture to the boil, adding a pinch of salt,freshly ground black pepper, the worcester sauce and let it simmer for about 45 minutes.
8. For the mash, boil the potatoes, then drain them in a sieve and place into a clean bowl. Add the milk, butter and mash together. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add more milk to get a creamier mash, use a whisk at the end to get smooth mash.
9. Pour the meat into an ovenproof dish and spread the mash on top, smooth over and mark with a spatula.
10. Put the dish into the oven and cook until the surface is bubbling and golden-brown. Usually about 30 mins.

This is easy and cheap, i usually do a yorkshire pudding to serve with it. there is enough to feed 3 people here and costs about £5/6
