This year has definitly been one long ass rollercoaster ride for me! :S It's had it's huge highs, as well as it's dirt ground lows. I'm glad this year is behind us, and am excited and happy to start a new one! Hope everyone here on POF has a fantastic, prosperous and safe new year!

I don't usually make new year resolutions; however, this year I think I will! I've been eating so much healthier the past six months, and getting outside for execise a couple of times a day. I've lost some weight already, not sure how much as I don't own a scale lol. My clothes are much looser though! So my resolution will be to continue my healthy lifestyle, and get back into my Levi's slowly but surely!

Oh those candy Rocketz for me allll the way! They've always been my absolute fav since I was a child! Now I buy a bag every Halloween just for me! I try to space them out, but it's hopeless and I get sores in my mouth by the end of the bag! LOL The mini chocolate bars were always #2! I remember getting mini-sips every year as a kid.. I loved those! We loved getting those too because it gave us something to drink halfway through the night! :P I remember one year, a needle or blade of some sort was found in some candy in our area. The next Halloween was horrible! Most of our stash consisted of just plain regular chips; we had maybe a handful of candy/chocolate because everyone was so paranoid.

Do I think it's cheating? No. Do I think it's a healthy thing for your relationship in the long run? God no. Experimentation is fun and fine, but if you're trying to make a relationship work for the long haul with someone and one of you wants to bring a 3rd party into your bed, doesn't it lead to the question of is what we have not enough? Because if it isn't enough right now it won't be enough later and that usually leads to problems. My thoughts exactly! Although I don't think it's cheating if both partners are ok with it, I also don't think it's healthy for a relationship in the long term. Just wanted to clarify my standpoint here lol.

How is it cheating if both partners agree to it? Cheating has a different set of rules in every relationship. If you're doing something you have to hide from your partner, it's cheating, and deep down inside, you already know it.

That would be tenth grade for me, so I was 15? I'd totally devote way more time to my studies, joined a club or two, and then apply to the Veterinary School in PEI. Back in the day, my friends and social life were just so important. Heaven forbid if I didn't make it out with friends on a Tuesday night to get stoned. They might forget me or something. I would have also spoke up to my brother, instead of sitting by quietly, about the dangerous path he was leading. I really should have... I think he would have taken it differently from me. I would have made sure someone was there to pick him up that night. Ahh to turn back time!

I shop at Save-Easy in Salisbury, which is affiliated with Superstore. Why? Because it's closer. When I lived in Moncton though, it was always Sobeys. I find Superstore has a lot of great sales or "buy one get one free" , but it seems it's always on junk and processed foods. I'm trying to eat a lot healthier now, so it's too tempting to shop there! lol Sobeys regularly has excellent sales on meats.

Chris Rock and Chris Tucker are both hilarious! I loved John Candy and Richard Preyer-- bless 'em. They were fantastic! I think Tyler Perry is great too, as well as Shawn and Marlan Wayans. Robin Williams and Jim Carrey are basically the best "artists" of humour. I also love Tim Allen and Ellen Degeneres stand up-- good stuff! Will Smith cracks me up most times as well.

This made me chuckle! There's a ton of us gals from POF that have been chatting on msn over the last several months. From talking about "oh, do you know so and so from POF?" or "Have you met whatshername from POF?" we found out that we all kind of chat with the same people one way or another. So we decided to just all meet up one night! Had a blast and it was great getting to meet everyone! We just had another last night too!

Yeah if you go to the site Blue_Eyed posted, it should give you a full list of what qualifies for wet/dry. Also, things like milk cartons should be at least quickly rinsed out. I know it's annoying, but it's saving this rock we live on!

My friend strawbdaiquiri and I had an awesome time as well! I loved the opening band Yoko Casionos and bought one of their CDs. Got lots of pics too! Sloan was fab as usual, and I too really like their new stuff! Dexter I thought I saw you too, but I really wasn't sure, and was too shy to go over and introduce myself! Glad you had a fun time as much as we did!

I don't like muscle pics or any pics that make them look like they're showing off. oh I so agree! That's the biggest turn-off ever. If the guy wants to show that he's in shape, then like you said, show a pic doing something active! A pic of you snowboarding, on a hike or whatnot is a lot more alluring that pics of you pumping iron! Timothy, your pic is a good face shot-- close and clear, but maybe another one or two? One without shades and/or a full body shot?

a 40 oz of Fireball & Cranberry Juice or some 151 proof run is always good and ginger and then once that is all consumed in an evening the heaves of sickness will keep the mind off the broken heart for a few days - repeat above until new prospect comes along I would like to second this advice-- worked for me! Now when people say "time", that doesn't mean laying in bed with Ben & Gerry for a month lol. Get out there and enjoy some "you" time! Take up a hobby or course you've always wanted to do; join a club or gym; reconnect with some lost buddies ect. Keeping yourself busy will not only help you keep your mind of your ex, it'll help you realize the perks of running solo again. I also second the girl that said break all contact and no sex with the ex! Unless you both end things really (and I mean really) well, usually staying friends right away isn't feasible. I mean, how easy is it to sit in a room and just "be friends" with someone you were romantically involved with? And again, the alcohol sure does help! lol

Autumn used to be my favourite because of reasons already listed. Perfect "jeans and sweater" weather; no bugs; breathtaking scenery ect. However, now I prefer summer! I guess when you get older you automatically start appreciating the heat more?? Seriously though, I mostly enjoy summer because of all the activities you can do. I love camping, hiking, fishing, going to the beach, swimming, boating, outdoor night parties/bonfires ect. Fall is still a close second though! Ya just can't beat a crisp autumn day when the sky is so blue and the colours of the leaves so beautiful!

Why anyone would put up a dark or blurry photo is beond me. I agree. They might as well just put up a doodle of themselves! As long as there's a clear face shot, that's all that matters to me. I just like to put a face to the name sort of thing. For those in the dating game, I suppose a clear body shot would be good too.

It's a great thing if you can laugh at yourself and/or not take yourself too seriously. However, I do see the other side. I was teased a lot up until 8th grade for my weight and glasses. It really does a number on your self-esteem and stays with you throughout your life. So what did I do? I learned to laught at myself before anyone else could. Great defense mechanism; unfortunatly, even after I was no longer teased because I lost weight and got contacts, I couldn't seem to "shut it off". I guess it had become a part of who I was. I try my hardest not to overdo it now though. Sometimes I'll put myself down in light-hearted way, and one of my friends will stare at me oddly and tell me not to talk about myself that way. It helps to put things in perspective and have more self-confidence.
