Thinking too little can do the same
Thinking in moderation is not all that subtle

Tender Kiss
The soft moist texture, pressing against my own form of its likeness, is emanating a warmth unlike any other.
Conscious blends with unconscious as the mental sensory perception stirs within; blackness surrounds as the sweetness starts to penetrate all defenses.
Giving freely without restraint and immersing in great pleasure, time has no power here. Elation is at the climax, while my body gently tingles with excitement.
The light is now rushing back with the seconds that were missing; pulling away I feel another kind of warmth, blowing upon my cheek as a gentle summer breeze.
Unusually content, gazing into a gaze, I affectionately smile at her in wonder.

A MADMAN’S HAPPINESS
YES, I AM CRAZY, BUT IT COMFORTS ME SO
LOVELY, THAT IS HOW I FEEL, IT IS ALL THAT I WILL TO KNOW
LIGHT OR DARK, HOWEVER YOU WOULD CHOOSE
A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES NOT, MY PERCEPTION DOES NOT LOSE

Dawning with the Dawn
Things seem so different today
Not like they were yesterday
And not like they’ll be tomorrow
For if yesterday were like today
And tomorrow was like yesterday
The days would be filled with sorrow
With every new day one must start anew
To break monotony through and through
So that one does not have to live a dull life
Dawning adventures dawn with the dawn
Do not be controlled like some mere pawn
If one is not wearing General’s stars there will be much strife
So if ever awakened in the night
With a feeling of darkness not of light
Remember who is in control
For if one has ever blamed another being
Whether he, she, or it is present or unseen
Think who is the real fool
There is nothing to lose and everything to gain
So one should not live their life in vain
For a worthless life is that of a slave
Do not fear these words of truth
Even though they are a little uncouth
They are not meant to condemn but to save
So with each passing day from here to then
Do not live the same one again and again
And expecting different results would be insane
So when awakened in the morn
Rejoice in the heart as if reborn
Only then will one feel the freedom of no pain
Things seem so different today
Not like they were yesterday
And not like they’ll be tomorrow

Anything Goes...It ok

Unfinished poems. Perhaps you could be the one to finish them.
As I gaze into the innermost depths of my mind
I perceive tens of thousands of locked doors for which
I have the key, though I do not allow myself to open
Now these doors, whether they may lead me to past memories
Or to a higher sense of self-consciousness and understanding,
I do not know
I have never entered thorough these doors, not because I have no desire to do so
But because I have never been able to understand how the key works
So what are these doors, and how is it that I have the key , and
Yet can not open them?
The doors are the barriers that I have place in my mind, whether consciously, unconsciously, of by conditioning
These barriers restrict me from using all the available faculties of my mind, which in turn, restricts me in my capacity to learn, know, understand, recall, and to use my mind, self-consciously, to it’s greatest extent
The extent that human reason can fathom the mysteries of the universe, is limited by five main factors: The foundation of knowledge already established, which is the basis of further discovery; the tools used in investigating, testing, and establishing potential problems and solutions; the way the tools are used; the conjectures and perceptions of the investigator(s); and the methods used in the conduction of the investigation (e.g. testing; areas of focus); assumptions; potential error; calculations; circumstances.

Untitled
Alone with my myself
Searching inside
Looking at my True Nature
Enlightenment I find
There is no other place
Where such Wisdom is known
No other time or space
Then with my myself alone
Searching for Pure Truth
Whatever that may mean
In dark depths of the uncouth
Secret thoughts yet to be seen
Meditating on the Light
Manifesting the white within
My blackness has become bright
Exposing self-inflicted sin
By the force of Will
And True Law now manifest
Evilness I shall kill
Infinite joy will be my rest
The lies are now gone
I am in Harmony with All
I can see the New Dawn
Saving myself from the Fall
Looking at my True Nature
Seaching inside
I find my True Will
There All Truth abides

Did God create Evil ?
Posted:
2/20/2006 9:33:52 PM
There can be no light without dark, no good without evil. Depending on which God you're talking about, I suppose that in a sense it could be surmised that God created evil. Does that mean He/She is evil for creating evil? Not necessarily. Say God created only good, but the effect of creating good was evil (thus no good without evil). So, in order to have good, there must be evil (obviously giving us free will, at least in a sense).
This question may never be fully answered, at least not in this world. I suppose the "true" answer to this question, for each individual, would be for an individual to decide for him/herself what he/she chooses to believe (there's that free will again). In short, this answer lies within "the eye (or mind) of the beholder," so to say. Not much of an answer, but then again, look at the evidence (i.e. almost none).

A Very Romanticized View Of LOVE
Posted:
2/20/2006 6:14:02 PM
Love? Is there such a thing as "love?" General consensus says, "Yes!" But who cares about the general consensus? I think that the existence of love is, as beauty, "In the eye of the beholder" (to use an overused cliche). Love, I think, is something that is a bit of a mystery to all of us (I know, there is always one or two that will say, "Love's not mystery to me.") Love cannot be explained by mere words, love is something that has to be felt. In my opinion, love is real. But, should my opinion really matter to anybody else? No, I don't think it should. To find love, one must believe in it; to believe in love, one must decide whether or not love is real for her/himself.

Just remember Broken Soul, bad times are just the prerequisite of good times. Without the bad, how can there be any good? Just like without dark, there can be no light. Happier times are soon to come and heal your soul, I promise.

Broken Soul. Someone once told me that "Knowledge is power, but wisdom is infinite." I just try to live by "wisdom" as I percieve it. My views, thinking, and personality are just a manifestation of this "wisdom," (in other words, my own philosophy). I don't always see a reason to conform within the "box," and it often (though not always) seems that the people who live in the box are wrong. I'm just being me.
I admire you for own views, which seem quite similar to mine. I wish you well in this world, which does not always see things as we do. Take care Broken Soul. I hope that your soul is quickly mended, so that you can enjoy life to its fullest for all of your days.

Here I am again, searching for something that may turn out to be nothing.
Searching, searching still for that thing that may be everything, which may be nothing.
But I will rise, as always, and go forth.
Whether or not in vain, perhaps I may be insane, I will continue to strive in my quest.

Are we alone??!!
Posted:
2/18/2006 12:44:05 PM
Of course, there is always the concept of a higher power (whatever that might be), or the theory of a "universal consciousness" in which states that human are connected to everything else (whether be to aliens, God, or a rock). Now, if we include factors like that, it opens up a whole different perspective on the question, "Are we alone?."

I agree, the sincere ones are few and far between. But I still don't think it's right to pay for a dating site. However, I believe that you are right about a person being more "genuinely interested." But even though fewer on here, there are still some people that are "genuinely interested." Problem is, who are they?

Another Day Miserable
All seems fine
All seems well
Until you find
All went to hell
You wake from your dream
It’s another day again
No good deeds will beam
Just another day of sin
You find yourself wondering
In a dreamy mind of haze
The sky’s raining and thundering
You hope it’s just a phase
Each day gets rougher
Then the one before
Things seem to get tougher
Life just seems a bore
You need to get out
And go somewhere today
You have your little bout
Then decide to stay
For anywhere you go
You feel like the fool
These words just go to show
That you’re miserable
Contentment
With nothing left to lose
And nothing left to use
In a silence I think of my life
Tomorrow what will I see?
What’s the next step for me?
Trying to think positive and not of strife
Day by day is how I survive
Some days it’s a struggle just to stay alive
Everyday I quest for something new
I’m always searching here and there
And sometimes I don’t even know where
For some kind of fairy tale happiness that isn’t true
But in my years I should now know
Happiness can be wherever I go
It comes with being content with things already acquired
Whether I may be rich or poor
In loving or hating less or more
I have chosen the paths in life I most desired
So in the times that I’m most unhappy
I can’t get too teary-eyed and sappy
Things will only be like this for awhile
But even with this knowledge I still get in a hurry
Looking too fast into the future I worry
Then in a silence I think of my life, look at the present, and smile

A Tender Kiss (or) Love's First Kiss

An Attribute to the Wise
Here I am again
Pondering things unexplained
Asking questions only to discover more questions
Never getting a satisfiable answer, let alone complete
I am tired
Tired of half truths
Wearied by the metaphorical riddles
Sick of the inconclusive gatherings
When shall I learn the secrets I desire
At what time will I be able to fill this undeniable void
This incomplete puzzle
This half empty glass
How will I find the light within the darkness
The missing pieces
The needed elixer
What might be the way to the knowledge that I seek
The inevitable virtue: Patience
Ever the way to wisdom

Psychological attractions? Maybe, maybe not.
Posted:

No, this never happen to me. Although, I'm not attracted to men either. But I think that perhaps you're like this is because you would like someone older and more mature. Someone with experience in relationships. Though, if they're divorced, you have to question if they're any good at relaationships. Also, maybe you're drawn to kids. Do you like kids? I know this isn't much of an explanation, though your attraction to divorced men may be just another of the great unexplained mysteries of the world. Anyway, that's
my 2 cents. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the advice. I wouldn't want to make the natives restless anymore than they already are.

Winter Sunrise
Have you ever seen the sunrise on a cold winter's day?
Crystal clear sky, the retreating twilight's gray
A chilly breeze blowing through your hair, the sweet smell of fresh untainted air
The land being revitalized in the new day's light, coming back to life after the frozen stormy night
The energy rising within you at an extraordinary height, like the power is emanating from the snow's bright white
The joy to the heart that it brings one surely cannot miss, it can only be compared, I think, to love's first kiss
Woe to you who has not felt this wonder I say, who has never seen the sunrise on a cold winter's day

You're welcome. I'm glad somebody has a sense where I'm coming from.
