2 ejected women get an apology
Capitol Police chief drops charge against activist arrested before president's speech
By Laurie Kellman
Associated Press
February 2, 2006

WASHINGTON -- Capitol Police dropped a charge of unlawful conduct against anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan on Wednesday and apologized for ejecting her and a congressman's wife from President Bush's State of the Union address for wearing T-shirts with war messages.
"The officers made a good-faith but mistaken effort to enforce an old unwritten interpretation of the prohibitions about demonstrating in the Capitol," Capitol Police Chief Terrance Gainer said in a statement late Wednesday.
"The policy and procedures were too vague," he added. "The failure to adequately prepare the officers is mine."
The extraordinary statement came a day after police removed Sheehan and Beverly Young, wife of Rep. C.W. "Bill" Young, R-Fla., from the visitors gallery Tuesday night. Sheehan was taken away in handcuffs before Bush's arrival at the Capitol and charged with a misdemeanor, while Young left the gallery and therefore was not arrested, Gainer said.
He added that he was asking the U.S. attorney's office to drop the charge against Sheehan. Gainer's statement also said he apologized to the Youngs and shared "the department's plans for avoiding this in the future. A similar message has been left with Mrs. Sheehan," Gainer said.
Sheehan's T-shirt alluded to the number of soldiers killed in Iraq: "2245 Dead. How many more?" She was released from custody and flew home Wednesday to Los Angeles.
Young's shirt had this message: "Support the Troops -- Defending Our Freedom."

One Democrat President since 1980, wasn't he impeached?
Posted: 1/23/2006 6:48:59 PM
Well Dallasguy!
The only thing I can say about this is do you think Bush is a better President then Clinton???
If so.........Personally I belive Clinton would mop the floor with Bush if they ever ran against each other.
You can pull up alot on Clinton years as president.
I'll bet you NEVER be able to pull up anything on this Bush Adminastration...............The most secretive in history.........Hands Down!

Yet I wonder if you'd even TRY to dig up anything Negitive on him.......Lord knows there's more then enough.

How do you feel about your first love?
Posted: 1/20/2006 7:22:06 PM
*Pangs of Heartache*
I still remember it as if it happened yesterday.
I though it was the most wonderful time of my life.

But I also remember hearing her say how much she hated me.
And it was for the stuipest reason.
She went out with me on a 'dare'.

She doesn't know that I know.
But I can't look at her in the same way ever again.

*Pangs of Heartache got a little louder*

What do you guys think of this?
Posted: 1/17/2006 5:57:28 PM
When I was younger...........{32}

I helped a women deliver a baby.
It was a 'VERY' hard pregency for her.
She said she wouldn't of gotten though it if it wasn't for me.

I always wanted to have a child.
But every now and then, I think about it.
Do I want a girl to go though something like that for me?
Or am I just thinkin' too much bout it?

What do you guys think about this?

And.........did the league retire #99?

Is it possible to fall in love with someone before meeting them in person?
Posted: 1/17/2006 5:08:13 PM
I think it is possible...........{Happened to me more then once}

But I always run into the same question........."Why do you love me, even though you haven't met me?"

And nothing I say ever is good enough for them.

So now if I ever feel that way to a girl.............I keep it to myself.
So I don't start off in a possible relationship with 1 strike against me.

I have to say, I'm guilty of not reading the whole profile.

What do you hate most about being single?
Posted: 1/17/2006 4:45:22 PM
I don't really hate being single. I grew to like my own company. But what bugs me the most is when some girls/women who say 'how they want a good man'. Yet they only pick he worst of the bunch.
They told me "Your such a nice guy".........But your not really my type.

It leaves me saying................."What the Hell are you looking for???"
I'm NOT a Badboy.....Or a Playa!...........{Mother taught me better then that}

At times it makes me wonder.............Do nice guys REALLY finish last?
Do I have to become the one thing I hate being?
DAMN!......I hope not!
